We had a lovely stay here and it worked very well for our group, especially with kids. The house is large and comfortable with lots of space for everyone to spread out, and the beachfront location was a highlight. Being able to walk straight onto the beach and then come back to the private pool made the days easy and fun for both adults and little ones.The atmosphere was peaceful but still lively enough for a group vacation, perfect for relaxed mornings, beach time during the day, and dinners together in the evening. One of the most memorable parts of our trip was having Miriam and Cesar as our private chefs for most dinners. They were wonderful and added so much to the experience.The home is clearly well loved and could use a bit of TLC in some areas, but nothing that took away from enjoying our time there. It felt more like a classic beach house than a brand new luxury property, which suited the laid back feel of the trip.Overall, it was a fun, comfortable place for a group getaway and we made some really special memories there.

Pickleball Paradise

Let’s start with Mary, the property owner. She was wonderful from our first communication to our departure. The property was perfect for our 5 couple trip to play pickleball and relax. The kitchen may be dated but it is well stocked. I would highly recommend using Mary’s “staff” to make a few meals for you. They work their magic In that kitchen Pickleball all morning and hang by the beautiful pool and get in to the jacuzzi all afternoon. Then hang out and eat dinner on the wonderful covered porch. It was a perfect spot for our getaway!

Rise for the Sunrise

Our group gathered in Los Barriles to visit friends and celebrate some birthdays. We loved the house location, with many of us rising early each day to sip coffee and watch the sun rise. The house layout was great for a bunch of adults. Each room was private, but with easy access to the common areas. The hot tub and pool got a lot of use. We did a lot of cooking, especially after a few members of our group went deep sea fishing with some local guides. The kitchen is fully equipped and we had all the pots, pans, and utensils we needed. Having Lugarda stop by each day to tidy up was a bonus!The owner was quick to respond to questions and offer suggestions for things to do and services - the massages we got were quite relaxing. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Christmas Memories.

We spent Christmas week with the whole family at Casa de las Palmas. The house was decorated with a beautiful xmas tree and outdoor lights. A spacious home plenty of room. The teens stayed in the bungalow for lots of privacy. We swam in the calm Sea of Cortez every morning and watched the wind surfers in the afternoon. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the heated pool. It was very quiet and peaceful. The house was very well appointed best we have ever stayed in. It was a great “making memories” week for all our family. Everyone was thoroughly happy with our accommodations. The place is beautiful.Mary is a most delightful hostess. She was there to welcome us. Gave us a tour of the hacienda. She made use feel very welcomed and was available during the week to assist our needs.We highly recommend this stay.*****

50th Birthday trip

We LOVED our stay at Casa de las Palmas!!! Being right on the ocean…in the ocean…was exactly what I needed! The house + villas were perfect for a large group! The pool area was wonderful, as well!! We enjoyed the snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, cool comfortable rooms at night! Max was great! He was flexible & always on time with drinks ready for every drive! The private chefs made delicious meals & accommodated our food restrictions…and we loved having the left overs! The quadgirl drop off & pickups were so accommodating & friendly! We loved everything & would love to come back sometime!! Thanks again for being a wonderful host!!!

This was a paradise! The location and the house are incredible. The food at the welcome dinner was delicious. But most of all, the communication/service from Mary is stellar. Best Trip Ever!

Our group of 4 families had the most wonderful stay at Casa de Las Palmas. Mary was an incredible host - from the planning to supporting all our needs while we were in Los Barilles - we had an incredible dinner prepared by wonderful team of chefs the day we arrived. We did so many activities - ATV trip, fishing, and snorkelling tour in Cabo Pulmo. The house layout, location on the beach and proximity to town were just perfect. Our group of kids, teenagers and adults had a blast. Loved swimming in the water in front of the house and the pool and hot tub! Thank you Mary for everything you did to make this the most special vacation for us all!!! We’ll be back! Hilary and friends from Vancouver

Best Ever Birthday!

I booked this home to celebrate my birthday with my family, children and grandchildren. The photos showed a beautiful home with everything I wanted...a pool, beachfront, with bedrooms and bathrooms for all. However, when we arrived I found absolute perfection! The compound was not only incredibly beautiful, but exactly right for my family of 6 adults and 4 children! everything that we needed was there, if not Mary, the wonderful owner, was so accommodating! From the Welcome Dinner to van rentals, airport pickups, and more, Mary made everything happen. We were all sad to leave but promised each other that we would return! What a memorable stay! Thank you, Mary, from us all!

Absolutely stunning

I cannot put in words how absolutely wonderful and amazing this house is and how incredibly accommodating and caring Mary is as a host. We held our wedding here and couldn’t have done it without Mary. The photos of the house and property do not in anyway do the space justice. It’s incredible. Mary was far and away the best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. She truly went above and beyond in every single way, from answering my countless emails to organizing beautiful dinners and allowing our wedding to flow without issue. I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful house and deal with such a gracious host. The house feels comfortable, clean, private, safe, expansive and yet cozy. The landscaping is stunning and the pool, hot tub and everything else was perfect. Thank you so much!!

The Best!!!

Luis could not have been more accommodating. He allowed us to check-in HOURS early and also let us check-out as late as we wanted. Luis answered his phone very quickly each time as well. We stayed at the property for a bachelor party with 13 people and had plenty of space. We were concerned that the fridge was too small then realized there were two extra big fridges in the garage! The location was perfect, nothing we did was farther than a 5-10minute Uber drive. The hot tub in the backyard was the perfect touch to end out nights. I absolutely recommend staying here. 10/10. You can party all night, in a clean well, kept place in the heart of South Beach!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend for a group of friends or family. There were plenty of activities to choose from that Mary helped with coordinating. We really enjoyed the access to pool and hot tub and daily walks along the beach. The house is very spacious with a bathroom for each room which is a nice plus. We loved renting the Quads from Mary to ride along the coast, a definite in Los Barriles!

Wonderful property and fantastic host.

We had a wonderful week at the Casa de Palmas. Comfortable lodgings. Clean pool and hot tub. Nice, quiet neighborhood and quiet beach. Mary, the owner, was very welcoming and responsive to all our needs. Couldn't ask for a better host. The house is right on the beach with a front-row view of the kite surfers and surfboarders zipping back and forth. We'll definitely go back there for another vacation before long.

Great rental experience

This was a family reunion with grandparents down to an 18 month old. it was a fantastic location and we had such a wonderful time all together. It was a very safe location. it is definitely an ex-pat community which is a plus or minus depending on your preference. We stayed mostly on property and just had daily runs into town to visit the market etc. I would highly recommend the property. Mary was a great host and the property is very well cared for. My only complaint and it really didn't affect our group too much is the wifi is really unreliable and cannot support many devices at once. Since we were there for vacation and not working it wasn't really a problem, but if someone was wanting to work and teleconference, I don't know how easy that would be. Overall a 10/10 experience and I would recommend this property to anyone.

Great house and location

Excellent place for family reunion Great pool and location on the beach . Close to town and next to turtle hatchery .Such a treat to watch baby turtles being release to the ocean every morning ! Mary was an excellent host she provided a welcome dinner for us and ideas for activities including fishing for dorado and 4 wheeling . Highly recommend .We will be back !

A vacation paradise

This was the perfect home and location for our family vacation - we have been visiting Los Barriles for over 25 years and this home /location was definitely the best one yet. Fully equipped with everything you need. Pool was beautiful and just steps to the lovely quiet sandy beach.The welcome meal was great and the chefs went out of their way to please everyone. Mary was a fabulous host and communicated well. Thank-you - we would love to visit again soon.

Amazing Home, Mary has thought of everything!

I can't say enough good things about not just the home, but the location, the amenities, the views, and how welcoming and helpful Mary was. She really thought of everything to make our vacation an experience we won't soon forget. We enjoyed watching whales, dolphins, sea lions, and manta rays all from the comfort of the deck! She has sun hats and sunscreen already there, to help with those items that are hard to travel with. The beds were comfortable and we all got great sleep. The pool was amazing! We finished many evenings in the hot tub reminiscing about our wonderful memories made that day. If you're considering booking this house you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely wonderful

We couldn’t have been happier. The property was absolutely gorgeous, and Mary was wonderful to work with. She was very quick to answer if we had any questions, and the location was perfect for our group. Close enough to town to go to dinner, but secluded enough to have some privacy. We LOVED our experience and can’t wait to go back!!
