I needed a nearby place to stay to supervise a move. This was better than I expected. Full kitchen and living area. Debbie was very nice.

Overall deborah has just about everything you need, just incase you forgot something she probably has it there. Its located in a quiet location but not to far from town and several parks. Overall the little house is very clean and organized. Deborah is a very nice lady, helpful and knowledgeable about the area , very concerning and easy to talk to. The re is a air conditioner that cools the whole place and an additional fan if needed. We came for a quick trip but wish we could of stayed longer.The only thing i would suggest is getting a new bed. Other than that exceptional and would definitely stay again.

Debbie is wonderful the cabin is beautiful and the property is peaceful, there’s a little brook that flows through on the edge of the property it’s so relaxing. Beautiful get away!

This cabin was great for what we used it for. It was a little far from wildcat off-road adventures. I think it was like a 20 minute drive to the cabin. The roads around the cabin are slightly confusing, and the cabins address was not marked. It would be nice if they put, the house numbers where they were visible to make it easier to find. But for all tens and purposes for what we needed it worked fine just needed a place to sleep at night.

Great! Definitely a little old but very clean and functional. Tons of VHS tapes and a player which was really cool. Overall really good place to stay if you want a bit of time away!

The owner was very sweet and gave us delicious cookies. The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans and utensils. The oven however, was about 30 degrees warmer than the indicator showed.. The owner wasn't available as stated when we arrived and we didn't know the door was open. The biggest problem was that there was no cell phone or Wi-Fi service. Only one cell phone service will sometimes get a signal at the location. It was a good spot for a variety of day trips.

This sweet and comfortable cabin is located in the countryside of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, east of Daniel Boone National Forest. This cabin offers privacy and serenity in a beautiful wooded location. We look forward to visiting again during the autumn season.

I always choose this quiet cabin to take a break and just relax. Always clean, and quiet. Debbie the owner is always wonderful.

Nice place to get away from it all. My family was able to pitch tents and the cabin bed was comfortable. There were enough towels for everyone. The floors were uneven in places, especially the kitchen. I called the owner because I didn't have a trash bin but never got a return call. Overall it was a nice get away.

My fiance and i visited this place for a bit of hiking and found this small place. We loved it so so much. Deborah was a sweetheart to work with. The process of checking in and making sure we had everything needed was so smooth. The house itself was sureal. It took us back to old times as we had no service so we took the time to play games, talk to each other and actually spend time with each other. THe place is so far away from everything so not a single light around us. If you go outside and are lucky enough to have a clear sky, you will see a sky soo beautiful not populated by any light. Loved the experience

The owner is a gem! The house was very clean, she had the a/c on and made access extremely easy, even gave me fresh corn on the cob from her garden. I wasn't able to get the TV operating, which was okay, I just enjoyed the outdoors. But there is no cell phone service. Other wise great little get away for the price.

First of all I want to say that it wasn’t until about the fourth or fifth day of our stay that my wife and I took advantage of one of the best amenities of this place, the owner herself ! We finally got to meet Deborah in passing and she was delightful helpful and practical ! The place was clean and organized with everything we needed ! The shower was hot and the kitchen from the stove to the fridge worked flawlessly allowing us to save some money on food costs. While the decor and building may both seem dated it is not overtly so and if your not a prima Donna then you will be totally fine as this place is great ! Be wary of phone service as my carrier had some trouble but it seems some other carriers were fine ! It was never too hot or cold during our stay though Devorah did afford us the use of the heater and AC thankfully it was quite temperate and we never had to use them ! The woods outside are beautiful and the area is quiet and peaceful inside the house you could hear almost nothing feeling like your really away from the stress of the city , outside the world is teeming with life but the quiet peaceful kind ! Overall it’s cheaper than a janky motel and it’s 100x better! A cozy living space that has everything you need plus a dedicated owner make this a great place to stay ! Ps if you have a chance ask Deborah about her family and kids!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was just perfect for the two of us and provided much needed peace, quiet, and relaxation! It was very homey and we loved the location!
