"We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"Wonderful host and great stay! Apartment was spacious and comfortable. More room that we needed for two couples. Easy off street parking for two cars. Loved the front patio area! Safe and easy to walk around the area. Perfect location for getting to local wineries and evenings out downtown. Host was very responsive and helpful and thought of everything when furnishing this rental. We will definitely book here again when we’re back in Charlottesville!"

"Our stay at the Pond House was wonderful! We were in the area for a wedding and the cozy apartment was perfect for our time away from home. The Pond House was equipped with everything we needed and it was sparkling clean. The neighborhood was quiet and five minutes from the airport. We couldn’t have had a better stay. "

"One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out."
