  • The lake life is calling at this 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom vacation rental cabin in Eagle River! Start your morning with breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen, then make use of the private boat dock for a day of fishing, swimming, or kayaking. Once you're back on dry land, fire up the gas grill for a family cookout on the lakefront deck. As the sun sets, the only thing left to do is gather around the wood-burning fire pit and roast marshmallows under the starry sky!

Our stay at Long Lake...

We enjoyed our stay very much . Fished on Long Lake with the fishing boat they accommodated. Peaceful and caught lots of fish.If your goal is privacy ,which ours was, this is the place to go.

Quiet getaway

We had such a great and relaxing trip with our 2 kids. We saw so many animals, played in the water-kayaking, and row boating. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed during our trip. Brett was responsive answering questions before our trip. The area was so quiet and had beautiful views! Would definitely recommend!

Quiet On The Lake

We were there just after Labor Day so there was zero activity on the lake. We live in downtown Chicago. There is always some kind of noise happening near us. In this cabin and down on the lake it was absolutely quiet except for an occasional bird call. Very refreshing.

Great time away

This stay was everything we hoped for- A chance to get away and do nothing but fish, kayak, play with the dog, and have campfires. Cleanliness was rated lower because it seems there were no professional cleaners involved here. It appears that the current guests were responsible for how clean the cabin would be for the next arriving guest. Cobwebs here and there are expected, in my opinion, at a cabin, but there were items left under beds, couch cushions, and near the bathroom cabinet that we had found and removed during the course of our stay. 4 stars overall and we would still book here again despite the housekeeping.

Quiet, peaceful, pretty setting but...

My husband and I arrived on a rainy day, the next day damp and cloudy so we spent much of our time indoors the first two days. It was tough to find things to keep us busy as the cabin was minimally equipped for indoor activities. Very few local TV channels, no cable. We did not find cards, games, etc.The kitchen was short on a few basic items such as a cutting board, wine glasses. The bathroom was damp and musty smelling so was concerned about possible mold growth, the furniture was worn and rather uncomfortable. The beds were a bit hard for our likes, the lighting was very inadequate in the bedrooms and family room and the bedrooms lacked simple bedside tables to set a book, water etc. on. Wish there were written instructions on how to use anything really... the TV(two remotes), the heat/fireplace.Heat was needed our last night/ morning there as it got down to 40 degrees. Lastly, can't figure out why there is a beautiful hydrangea plant off the deck that blocks your ability to go down the steps or see the lake from the kitchen or deck. For the cost, it was so-so. Sorry didn't find a lot to be positive about other than the surrounding area is quiet and pretty. Everyday we saw a family of deer on the driveway and surrounding yards. We took nice walks down the quiet street each morning :)

We had a great time. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and close to town when we needed things. Enjoyed the use of the boat to explore the lake. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with what we need to cook.

Relaxing Get Away

The weather for our stay did not work in our favor as it rained and was cold the entire stay. The house was comfortable and warm allowing us to enjoy our stay even if inside. We did get quite a bit of fishing in from the dock. There is definitely a sweet spot out there which caught us fish in most casts. This made it incredibly fun for our 3yr old daughter as it was her 1st time fishing. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Vacation

Property was great. Biggest advantage working washer and dryer and dish washer. Beach access was ideal for kids learning to swim. Thank you.

Lilly pad cottage

The pictures and the description sounded great for us, the rental process was easy and user friendly. Brett was very quick to respond to my questions and very professional. It was a wonderful week in a beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake surrounded by lots of lily pads.

Vacation

We have stayed here for a few years now. Every year there are improvements to the cabin. Brett is very responsive to any issues that come up during our stay. We love the quiet surroundings the most. It is getting harder to find that in the Eagle River area.

Good time

Very quiet and secluded. Felt nice to get away here. Fishing right off the dock was good. Couldn’t take boat out because it was really windy every day. Overall great get away.

Quiet

The property is the definition of quiet. Peaceful lake with no boat traffic, at least during the week. If your heading ups there during g the summer months, take bug dope. Mosquitoes are very bad, and there was nothing available in Eagle River. Enjoyed the stay, recommend the property. Lots of room.

Perfect Wisconsin Stay

This place was very charming, warm, and welcoming. Not only was the inside great, the outdoor area was also perfect. There was enough space for us to set up a volleyball net, play badminton, have a bonfire, and be able to go kayaking with the equipment provided by the owners. My family and I had a great time!

Had it all for my family

We arrived very late. Got heater going and was comfortable Woke to a beautiful morning. Kids explored. Then went biking which was our main purpose of the trip. Biked different trails 3 days. 40 minute drive to some but well worth it. Then came fishing. On lake in row boat and kayaking. Followed by a campfire and smores. Great place. So much to do and the weather was perfect

Peaceful

We were looking for peace and quiet and that’s what we got, with beautiful surroundings as well. The cabin was nice and clean and cozy, with easy check in and out. Definitely would go back!

Located on nice lake. Plenty of free kindling and firewood. Lots of hot water.

Someone needs to check on how well the cleaning lady cleans. Pine needles and dirt in bottom of freezer, kitchen wastebasket filthy, bathroom floor filthy, outside of fridge , dishwasher and microwave very dirty, burned food in oven.

Long Lake Cabin

Very nice cabin with all the amenities. Included a rowboat and 2 kayaks. Plenty of seasoned firewood on hand. Nice wide aluminum dock to sit on and soak up the atmosphere. A bit weedy for fishing from the dock though.
