It's a great location and an excellent house for large families. Home was very clean and spacious. Communication with the property manager was great! My only recommendation to the owners would be to do some maintenance. Some things were minor (like the kitchen faucet not properly working) and others were almost dangerous (like one off the sliding doors coming off the tracks). Also the years could use some better care but hey, you're there to hike & fish, right? Overall a great time but for the price we expected those finishing touches like other VRBO properties we've stayed at.

House review

The house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. We had a wonderful time. The only real issues were the lack of cleats on the pier to tie up the boat, made it a lot more work to secure the boat. Also the sliding glass doors to deck were very difficult to move and the kitchen faucet was a huge pain; hard to get the water hot and then hard to get it completely off. That being said, it is a great place and the fishing off the pier was terrific.

Great for Big Families- Very Spacious

We had 4 families stay in the house with 2 dogs. Families consisted of grandparents and siblings with kids. They did have a pack n play and high chair for kids. The description was very accurate of what to expect. It was very clean, very spacious, and great view. Also, we found out the last day the canoe in the great room lights up- be sure to check that out! It is also nearby Eagle Lake which is a nice big lake. Some things to note if you are bringing dogs they do need to be leashed at all times. There is not really a swimming entry by the lake- you still could swim just steep bank to get down and rocky in the lake. Last, the driveway is just as it shows in the picture it is not longer so if you are bringing any trailer just be aware of that. We were able to fit a boat trailer and truck length wise, but that put the front of the truck almost to the road.

Family, Friendly, Family Ready

Our experiences was very good. It was our first getaway with all of our families together and everyone was very happy. The house was beautifully set up and accommodated the whole family including a high chair and playpen/bed for babies. There were only a couple of comlaints. The dishwasher was hard to figure out,The screen doors did not work the best, .and not enough garbage bags. All in all it was a great stay! Fantastic location!

Great Place

This is our 3rd year in a row staying at this house and it has been great every year. Very clean, a lot of space, great views, and a great place for friends to gather and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Family and golf getaway

The property was very nice as advertised. My wives sisters and their husbands do an annual golfing getaway and Eagle River area was our choice this year. Loved the house which served our group well. Enjoyed a fire pit night and several games of billiards. Would highly recommend this home.

nice house plenty of room we had 10 adults in our family. close to the lake great for boating or just enjoying the outside. rented a pontoon and could ride for hours on the chain of lakes very enjoyable.

Family Getaway

Beautiful home plenty of room for everyone. TV and WIFI not so good, would have been nice to have tv hook-up in Master Suite for parents alone time. Overall had a great time, something for everyone, fishing, boating and best of all relaxing. Bob Marilyn & Family Aug. 6 to 13, 2022 .

Family trip Up North

Overall we enjoyed the house. There was plenty of room and the location was good. We were on a busy part of the lake, so depending on what you’re looking for, this could be good or bothersome. We did have a few issues: -no boat lift even though we called Vacasa and they verbally confirmed there was a boat lift for guest use -dirty cooking utensils (this was not a matter of sanitation, there was old, dried food stuck to the utensils but there’s a disclaimer over the kitchen sink that dishes are not “sanitized” -the towel rack in master king bedroom was falling off, not huge issue but could easily break -the lights for the master bedroom king bed do not work -the nightlight lightbulb was out on the first floor bathroom -the kitchen oven overhead lights were out and the kitchen was very dark, the space was still nice to gather, but for the quality and price of this luxury house, we expected these minor amenities to be available. We communicated all this through VRBO app and via email and no responses, so that was a little disappointing. I did see later that there was a name and number listed in pamphlet, not sure why we wouldn’t get a response through VRBO? Despite that stuff, we enjoyed ourselves. Not things that would ruin a trip by any means…again, only calling them out because this is a luxury type home and we expected these little details to be better. Thanks!

Nice Home!

It was chilly while we visited but we made the best of it. The TV's did not work well at all, I'm sure because the internet was not good either. Not the property owners fault but shouldn't advertising TV's and internet as it was not working at all. Overall everything seemed good.

Awesome Place with Great space

THis was a great property to host 9 guys on weekend snowmobiling trip. The property was clean and really had a lot of space. The basement is where we spent most of our time at the house, either playing pool, hanging around drinking at the bar, or sitting and playing some games. Hopefully we can rent again next year.
