Loved the location of the property. It’s on a more secluded part of Voyager lake. Most of the boat traffic on the chain is a good distance away from the property. We brought our boat and the pier was perfect to tie up to. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate to enjoy a campfire while there, but there was plenty of cut wood ready to burn in a lovely setting. There is a nice deck with a bar height table and chairs. Lots of very friendly deer in the area and they often wander through the property grounds. Cabin size was as expected. Bedrooms were spacious and one of them had a sink vanity with a mirror. This was great, as there is only one bathroom and it’s quite small. The kitchen is old and in need of an update, but it is well stocked with anything you might need for your stay. The only down side for us was the quality of the well water. The tap water has an odor that is unpleasant. I found myself breathing through my mouth when showering to avoid smelling it. You also smell it when washing dishes. We’ve stayed in many of old cabins in Northern Wisconsin and have never experienced water quality quite like this. Thankfully, the owners do provide a water cooler dispenser in the kitchen, with extra bottle refills, so you don’t have to drink the tap water or use it for cooking. In all honesty, we loved everything about this property, but would likely not stay there again unless we knew the water quality was improved by a whole house water filtering system.
