"This is one of our favorite places we’ve stayed to date! Very peaceful, secluded, private, and beautiful scenery traveling to and from. If you’re looking to truly relax, this is the place. It was very clean and cozy as well. I will definitely stay at Cozy Cabin Retreat should I ever visit Vermont again! "

"The cottage was just as described with the added bonus of a full kitchen albeit with out a dishwasher. The bagel toaster more than made up for that! We were here for a family wedding and it was great to come back to the lake for the peace and quiet!"

" We had a very pleasant stay! The house is bright, open, airy, very clean and comfy! The kitchen was well equipped and had ample counter space. The bedrooms were roomy and the bathrooms looked new. The photos are accurate. The house is located in a quiet spot in the woods up a steep dirt road. We heard a lot birds in the morning and saw a black bear. The location is convenient to Waterbury and Stowe. We enjoyed the hiking, biking, swimming and kayaking in the area. Tom replied...

"Great house and location for our hiking trip. The place was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and the star gazing is great here as well on a clear night. Exactly as advertised and would definitely stay here again."

"Very clean and tidy in a wonderful neighborhood. Everything you need to be comfortable and feel at home. The house itself in adorable and the furnishings are very fresh and comfy. The only thing I would suggest in the future in window air conditioning units. Vermont is just getting hotter than usual. My family stayed here while visiting me and were very pleased with their stay. "

"This house was perfect for my family as we traveled for a wedding. My two brothers and our family’s got comfortably in this wonderful home that was very close to the venue. We had easy access to all local spots and it had everything we could ask for. Very responsive hosts and all around amazing people and experience. Would recommend!!!!"

"A few days before arrival, we were sent an email containing instructions for the property. These instructions were addressed to another individual and dated 2021, which seems to be an indication of the last time the property had any attention. Arrival was fairly smooth, following the instruction sheet. The exterior of the house was somewhat worn, with sections of missing gutter, worn paint, and loose entry steps. Inside, both the garage and in the main living area were cluttered and dusty. It...

"Pictures don’t do this place justice. Beautiful home and awesome view overlooking Woodbury Lake. As far as amenities, everything you could possibly need is provided. The host communicated throughout the stay. Hope to return again."
