Centrico
Está situado cerca de la estación de trenes y además tiene muy buenas comunicaciones con tranvía/metro para ir a cualquier parte de la ciudad. El desayuno es muy bueno. La habitación no tenía persianas, se tiene despertar natural. Cuando se cierra la ventana de la habitación se nota lo bien insonorizada que está.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und schönes, großes Zimmer. Wir waren auf der Durchreise und daher nur für eine Nacht dort. Würde jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

1. No check-in staff available when I arrived just after 10pm. 2. Room was not cleaned 3. WiFi was terrible. I could not work at the hotel as planned. When I asked the receptionist I was advised “weather has caused the WiFi issue, and this is German WiFi”. 4. Room was too warm. Even with the windows open and desk fan blowing.

Dear Kamal, Thanks for your review.1. Our reception is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. This can be clearly read from our description. Immediately after booking, each guest will also be sent information about our opening hours, with the request to inform us if the arrival is after 10 p.m. In this case, check-in is possible via terminal or key box. You wrote us that you will arrive at 21:53. We complied with the wish to stay "a few minutes" and only closed our reception at 10:20 p.m. You have not arrived to date, but still have the possibility to move into the room. We have send the code for safety box and instruction how to go in the hotel.2. You booked 2 nights. On the 2nd day the guest had the "Do not disturb" card hanging on the door until about 4 p.m. In such cases, the room will not be cleaned. 3. WiFi is a free service from the hotel. When fully booked, the speed may be slower, There is a computer in the lobby that guests are free to use and the signal is usually stable.The remark about the weather was only because your complaint happened at the time of the thunderstorms and we could only suspect that that might be the cause4. Our rooms are not air-conditioned, which is also mentioned in our description. Kind regards

It was close to a busy street and not far from the Central Station. It could be an issue if you are looking for a quiet place. (I had the streetside) The bed was excellent and the floor had an wooden one. The bathroom was basic but modern. It even got a small fridge. The essentials are good!! The elevator is very small/ narrow It could be a issue if you have a room on the 6th floor.

Comodissimo soggiorno a vicinissimo alla stazione

Aardoge mensen, goede service. We waren vrij vroeg aangekomen en vroegen om bagage-opslag en later inchecken. Omdat ons gereserveerde kamer nog moest worden schoongemaakt, bood ze een andere kamer aan. We konden hierdoor gelijk inchecken. Mis wel thee en koffiefaciliteiten op de kamer. Kamers waren ruim en schoon. Fijne douche.

Alles super nur die Matratzen sind eine Zumutung. Leider sind die so hart, dass man genauso gut auch auf dem Boden schlafen könnte. Ansonsten war das Zimmer einwandfrei und die Angestellte super freundlich.

Vriendelijk ontvangst en zeer nette kamers. Enige minpuntje van ons waren de harde matrassen maar dat kan ook persoonlijk zijn. Hotel ligt op loopafstand van het centrum. Van te voren een parkeerplaats gereserveerd wat ideaal was. Kortom een fijn verblijf gehad.

Ausstattung ist okay und das Preis-Leistungverhältnis passt soweit. Die Lage ist ebenfalls gut, man hat einen riesen Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke und kann viel zu Fuß oder der Bahn erreichen. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, teilweise hört man es wenn im Treppenhaus mehrere Personen sprechen.

Great for solo trips!
I stayed 2 nights, it was a clean room within a quiet neighbourhood. It was close to the central area. I think it is a great place to stay especially if you are travelling on your own. For this price, I don't think you can find anything better.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr gümstige Lake zwischen Hbf ud Königsallee, sehr vieles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal ist ist ebenso freundlich wie schnell.

I had a great stay in Hotel Batavia. Good customer service at the reception and great communication with them A+++. The hotel is near the Train station. The room was good, I was only disappointed because there is no AC in the room.

Aardig personeel achter de balie. De matrassen waren helaas steenhard, waardoor wij geen oog dicht deden en met rugpijn weggingen. We hadden gevraagd of er zachtere matrassen waren, maar dit was er niet. Ze hadden wel toppers om erop te leggen die iets zachter waren, dat was behulpzaam van het personeel. Dit maakte het alleen niet veel beter. Wij zullen niet nog eens hierheen gaan of aanbevelen.

Supervriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en de locatie ten opzichte van het centrum was prima. Wij sliepen in een 3-persoonskamer. 1 van de bedden was een soort opklapbed met een diepe kuil erin. Ik heb dit na de eerste nacht aangekaart en voor de tweede nacht was dit bed vervangen door een nieuw opklapbed zonder kuil. Nog steeds vond ik dit niet erg lekker slapen, maar ze hadden in elk geval wel iets met mijn opmerking gedaan. Ontbijt was prima en functioneel, maar niet ongelooflijk bijzonder.

Nice Stay
Decent little hotel this, great value for money. Most importantly it was clean with a good shower, 5 minute walk to the Konigsalle and 5 more to the Aldstat

Visiting Friends in Duisburg and Bochum
I arrived at The Batavia around 4 pm on the Friday and was checked in immediately as I have stayed here before and was recognised by the staff. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone travelling to Dusseldorf as The Staff are of the highest quality possible. The Hotel is about 5 / 10 minutes walk from Dusseldorf HBF and about 15 minutes walk to The Alstadt Area where there are many great Bars and Restaurants. The Area surrounding The Hotel is generally very quiet apart from a Weekend when it can be slightly busy due to nearby Hotels and Clubs being busy. Overall I have not come across a better Hotel for the price.
