Relaxing retreat
Very relaxing and welcoming. We needed a weekend away to ourselves and the amenities here helped us be connected and relaxed. Great location with lots of amenities close by, and close to Portsmouth for dining and shopping. Thank you so much for having us!

Incredible Hideaway
This property is incredible. The outdoor spa was beyond our expectations. The cozy quaint side apartment was perfect for our the needs. The steam shower is incredibly calming and relaxing. I cant recommend this place enough. If I could rate higher, I would. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Offers What it Says, Location a Bit Surprising
When I go away with my husband for a relaxing weekend, I’ve always used hotels; this was the first time we used a VRBO just for the two of us. The listing seemed perfect- hot tub, sauna, king sized bed, steam shower, massage chair, small kitchenette. The pictures show that it’s in a wooded area, almost rural, private. All of the amenities were there and in great condition, the only surprise- the accommodations are part of the owners house, sort of a spa redesign of an in-law apartment. I felt pretty blind-sided by this, the way the pictures looked it seemed like a little vacation bungalow on its own private lot. We almost left the night we arrived because this is not our style. However, we stayed and did enjoy everything, but I would not say that this is a place for people who want total privacy; we could hear the family moving in the house, had to walk by their house to get to the entrance, would’ve been visible from their deck/windows if we had used the hot tub. A great place for people who want a nice spa weekend on a budget who don’t want a high level of privacy.

Perfect place to relax and recharge!
My husband and I were looking for a short get-a-way to just relax & unwind. From the get-go, Bridget was super friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The place itself was charming and cozy, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The real highlights were the jacuzzi and sauna. After a day of hiking and shopping, they were pure bliss. We will definitely be go back! Highly recommend.

This place was fun and so cool. We went in Feb it was freezing cold outside. Yet us 2 seniors giggled our way in an out of sauna, hot tub, steam shower, and the rest. Definitely a fun getaway. Thank you!

Perfection
A mini oasis for sure. Well done of the set up and operation. Very relaxing and private and such a lovely location. Felt like I could let the normal life go and just take that fresh air and relax fully. Such a great host and I recommend this place for sure.

Relaxing Weekend
We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend here. Brigitte met us on arrival and explained everything about the property to us, which made using the facilities very easy. Everything was clean and just as advertised.

Perfect place to disconnect, reset and reconnect
My wife and I stayed for a quick getaway to decompress and reconnect with each other. We could not be happier with everything the host and the property have to offer. The host was incredibly accommodating and very responsive. The bedding, shower, sauna, hot tub, massage chair, couch, towels - You name it - were perfect. The property is beautifully situated and the space very private, absolutely perfect for rest and relaxation. We only wish we could have stayed a few more nights and have absolutely no complaints.

Moms relaxing getaway!
Stayed at this beautiful property for 2 nights with my best friend. It was far enough away from town to feel the peace and quiet yet close enough for amazing shopping and food. We plan on making this our new pre Christmas tradition for years to come! Bridgette has absolutely thought of everything to make this property absolute relaxation! Can’t wait to go back!

Absolute relaxation
My husband and I came up for a weekend to relax, unwind and enjoy the Christmas festivities. Upon arrival you are engulfed in relaxation. The sounds, views, jacuzzi, sauna, and rain/steam bath wow! Then to top it off to have the tv on a relaxing Christmas scene just set the mood. Bridgette was attentive and a wonderful host!

We really enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. Very peaceful location and high quality facilities (hot tub, sauna, etc.) We even saw deer walking around. Great to get away from the busy city even if just for a short time

Beautiful Location-Great Amenities
We throughly enjoyed this retreat property. It is located in a quiet area that is surrounded by trees and nature. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area that was just installed. Our host Bridgette put a-lot of effort into making sure we had everything we needed.

Relaxation Abound!
What a true gem! This place was a breath of fresh air, and then some more. Brigette was an amazing host, walked us through everything, explained how the jacuzzi, sauna, plunge pool worked. As well as made sure everything in the rental was stocked with anything we could have needed to relax and truly unwind. What an amazing slice of relaxation in a truly amazing area. We cannot wait to see the outdoor kitchen when it is done. We highly recommend this as a fantastic place to stay, unwind, and enjoy anywhere that is recommended by Brigette, she knows the best spots!

Beautiful relaxing and restful stay
Upon arrriving, it was a nice surprise to have our host greet us with a quick synopsis of where everything was and how all worked etc... Super friendly and informative. The hottub was at perfect temperature, steam shower was awesome. We were provided abundant privacy and enjoyed our stay immensely! It truly was a spectacular getaway...highly recommend!

Wonderful Escape
The property is beautiful. Back in a forest setting. The room is wonderful stocked with most everything you need for a romantic get a way. The bathroom is fabulous with the rain shower and steam bath. Instructions are provided to operate all of the amenities on the property. It rained most of the time that we were there, so we did not get to use the hot tub or sauna. It was a wonderful get a way.

A Wonderful Retreat
It was secluded and yet not far from some great restaurants and attractions. The place was amazing! The spa amenities were everything you could ask for to make for a relaxing weekend. The hostess was very gracious, on-site and very responsive!

We had a nice and relaxing weekend - the massage chair and aromatherapy steam shower were nice luxuries. We didn't realize when booking that this was a suite inside someones home. We still had a nice stay but it wasn't exactly what we expected. The location was good and not too far from restaurants.

great week
I recovered from a reverse shoulder replacement here at bridgette's Spa with my sister. It was the perfect spot with a year round out door hot tub just steps from the door, heated bathroom floor with a large steam shower, massage/yoga recliner chair, and all the oils to go with it. bridgette was amazing, always available and so accommodating! She served us the most amazing breakfast one morning with homemade croissants, veggie omelet and fresh fruit. Everything about this place was perfect and above what I expected. I'm anxious to return when I can enjoy the new outside sauna just installed. You couldn't find a warmer more caring host then Bridgette! Thank you for a week of relaxation and recovery!

The Perfect Place to Relax and Rejuvenate
Brigitte was an excellent host and took the utmost care into designing the perfect oasis in the woods. She warmly greeted us upon arrival and was available in case we needed anything during our stay. Would definitely return in a heartbeat! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away for a few days and relax. Durham’s town center is only an 8 minute drive away with some food and drink options; Portsmouth is about a 15-20 minute drive (great place to spend a day and night walking around).

This space was unexpectedly beautiful, it is spacious and has all the amenities you could want, beautiful hot tub and deck area overlooking a very private forested backyard, nice Lounge chairs, spacious clean shower with aromatic steam bath, the little details are lovely like Cutlery cups and plates, fresh organic teas, and coffee. We will surely stay again and recommend this place to anyone

Wonderful place in New Hampshire
Accommodations were excellent and Bridgette was a wonderful host. She recommended a couple excellent local restaurants for lobster dinner and was very responsive in all communications. We stayed here for our honeymoon and she had a nice welcome gift in the room when we arrived.

Fabulous comfortable home away from home!

Perfect retreat
We used this as a home base to explore NH/ME coast and it was perfect! Coming home to such a relaxing oasis was vital to our ability to get out and explore every day. Loved it.

Tranquil, delight!
Our stay was nothing short of a relaxing, tranquil delight from the moment we arrived to the moment we had to sadly say goodbye. Brigitte is extremely kind and attentive! She has clearly put a great deal of thought, creativity and concern for the well-being of her guests into every detail. You couldn't ask for a better place to rest and relax. The location was ideal for us, removed from the hustle and bustle and a short distance from so many wonderful things to explore! We truly had a wonderful stay!!!

Tranquil Hideaway
This was an amazing place to stay! Brigitte was the most amazing host. The room is so comfortable and the spa amenities are luxurious. Every detail made us feel pampered. Though the purpose of our stay was work, this place made us feel like we were at a 5-star vacation resort! Only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Best stay ever!
Can't rave enough about this very, very special rental. It's rare in today's world to find someone who puts such thoughtfulness and care into what they do. Brigitte is the best host we've ever met and has thought of everything. This special rental is in a wonderful, relaxing location. The space is perfection with everything you could think of from imported tea to the most comfortable bed ever to the beautiful steam bath and so much more. We just can't wait to come back. When I travel I generally prefer to go to new places all the time, this is one of the very few that is so awesome we will return again and again. We loved how just a short 25 minute ride we were in the heart of Portsmouth which we absolutely loved. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

Perfect wooded retreat
