Very nice place!

Easy check in, property was clean and well stocked with supplies to start off with. Close to purgatory ski resort. The on call shuttle service was very convenient for getting back and forth to the ski lifts. Nice quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Property

Property was even better than pictures. It was beautiful, clean and more than we expected. The kids loved the ping pong table in the garage and my 4 year old granddaughter found legos in the closet that kept her busy all weekend. View of the mountain from master bedroom was stunning.

Wonderful vacation condo

The condo was beautiful, and it was a wonderful place to relax! Whether you prefer relaxation or all Durango/Puragtory has to offer, this is the perfect spot! We enjoyed being close to Purgatory to enjoy all the activities, but we loved being in the quiet neighborhood across the highway.

We had a great week. Loved the pond and playing on the water. Boys enjoyed the ping pong table. Thanks for sharing your home with us! Our favorite things to do were whitewater rafting and jeeping on Imogene Pass & Ophir Pass. Visited Mesa Verde too and were amazed by the cliff dwellings. We will be back!

Great Location, Nice House - some issues

some furniture (couch & chair) was shabby with large scuffs, tears and scratches. Carpet was old, worn and stained. Too much furniture made it cluttered and hard to walk around the living room and dining area without removing some pieces of furniture to make it more accessible. Temperature control /thermostat module in refrigerator was hanging/dangling down. Too many throw rugs throughout house (not secured) including rugs on top of the carpet making walking and tripping a interesting adjunct to the place. Master bedroom bed was missing Foot Board - which left exposed two large metal hangers/plates for you ankles and shins to catch on. Master bed room closet had two very large trunks stored in the closet - which didn't leave any floor space for shoes or other items or the top shelf which had other household items placed there leaving very little room for anything else. I do have pictures in case anyone is interested in seeing.

The House is in Purgatory

The house is nice. It is located in Purgatory which is in between Silverton and Durango. It’s about 30 mins from Durango. The house is in a very desolate area. We did not go during snow season so there wasn’t much to do close to the house. The check in process was very easy and our GPS took us directly to the property from Montrose Airport. Also if you’re driving to the property from Montrose you’ll drive through Red Mountain Pass and while it’s a beautiful drive, you’re butthole will be puckered from fear lol. The house wasn’t as clean as I had hoped for. They’re were chips on the floor when we arrived, empty Bud Light bottle on the patio. The patio was also very dirty with dirt and bird crap and the patio furniture cushions has definitely seen their better days. Some of the cushions were even missing. But the real issue was when I pulled back the covers in the masters bed there was a ring. Looked like a wedding ring and there was hair on the sheets. We had to completely strip the bed and search for more sheets. Overall the house served the purpose.

Durango adventure

Too brief! Views from porch very nice and comfortable to watch wildlife and mountains. Could not complete bedding laundry, washer small. Otherwise, had everything we needed. Microwave has to be pushed hard to start.

Snowboard getaway

This is one of my fave rentals I’ve rented. Super cute townhouse with plenty of room, and great views. So loved the venting under cabinets for heating. I really don’t have any complaints.

Perfect Location

Beautiful property in excellent location just outside of the city of Durango. No air conditioning in these condos and was 100 degrees the day we were there. Master bedroom ceiling fan didn’t work so we had to sleep in guest bedroom. Also note that you need to haul your trash about half a mile away. Really those are just small issues. Beautiful property directly across from Purgatory. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great Summer Mountain Home!

This was a great place to stay and provided a scenic mountain view from the patio. Very comfortable beds and private garage. We will be back! NOTE: Smokers please read! These mountain homes in this complex do not have Air Conditioning for the summer time. This isn't an issue for comfort in the daytime or night if you're leaving your windows open. However when you smoke on your patio or in the driveway this becomes an issue for non smokers when windows are open. Please be courteous and aware of this situation. Knowing your wind direction is a must so you're not disrupting your neighbors vacations.

Excellent getaway

This property is beautiful! We came for a summer getaway from AZ and the cool weather was just what we needed. The location is pretty far outside of Durango so there aren’t a lot of restaurants or grocery stores nearby, plan accordingly. We intentionally didn’t want to be around a lot of people due to covid so it was a perfect stay for us. Beautiful lake nearby with a nice walking path as well as a hiking trail.

Stayed here with friends after a backpack trip. Great size for group of 6. All the amenities we could ask for after a week of hiking. Would recommend.
