The host had a fully equipped home. I expected pots and pans, but everything from ski gloves, board games and even toiletries where included.I was so impressed with the amenities and would def recommend and stay here again!

Home away from home

This property was above and beyond what my family could have asked for. Close to the lifts. Fully stocked kitchen! Absolutely comfortable! The bed in the living room fit my family perfectly and it was super comfortable! Great communication with the host and access to resort amenities was a plus. Personal locker for snowboards. Just awesome! I plan to stay here on our next trip.

Perfect condo for a family!

Location was great with a short walk to the lifts and restaurants. Kitchen was well equipped. Plenty of beds and room for everyone to have their own space to chill. Communication was immediate and owners were awesome to deal with. Will definitely book for future trips.

This place was perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes! The couches are huge and very comfortable, and there is a separate room for kids to play in.

Perfect for our family!

This was a great place for our family of 5 to stay! Cozy and comfortable and child friendly. The owners definitely go above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!

Great location and sleeps plenty!

Within walking distance of the ski lifts. The owner was very responsive to needs and questions. Parking was a bit of a challenge but luckily we didn’t have to leave once we found a spot, given the weather. Would stay here again for sure!

Great property for what it is

Did a father/son trip with 3 dads and 3 boys. Having a big living room and lots of beds was perfect for us. No need for a 2nd bathroom. Accesss to the heated pool and hot tub was a nice perk. Walk to the lifts was barely noticed by all.

Very accommodating

Very accommodating, because Covid we expected to cook and the kitchen was perfect, the kids could play in the snow right out the back door which was nice. Parking was easy but it was a little bit of a trek to the base area. Especially with gear and kids. Plenty of beds and blankets

Fun to be on the mountain

Perfect location with easy access to the #1 lift. Great to be able to take a break midday for lunch (or a nap!) and then head back out to the slopes for a few more runs. Erica is a great host and made the in and out super easy. Looking forward to our next trip to Purgatory!

We loved it!

We had a great stay! Erica's ski condo is in a great location to ski at Purgatory. We were able to walk to the lifts! This was a luxury for us. Being from AZ, we have to drive to our AZ ski resorts. And the condo was very well equipped with everything we needed. Plenty of blankets and pillows, condiments in the fridge, seasonings in the cupboard, games on the shelf and towels and washcloths. We felt like were were staying at a friend's! The layout of the condo is a little different than most, but we thought it was great! Be aware that there are not really traditional bedrooms, but plenty of space and sleeping areas for a family or close knit group. And just the one bathroom. We thought it was an awesome place to stay and would book it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Erica for sharing your ski condo with us! Brigette from AZ

Nice property very close to slopes

Great communication from owner. Unit was tricky to find, but Erica guided us to it upon arrival. Well stocked and very clean unit. The back room actually worked out very well for us. Noise from upstairs unit was a litttle loud at times, but nothing too crazy. Just kids walking around in what sounded like ski boots. Overall this unit was nice and met our needs very well! 5/5

Great location and communication!

Location was walkable to everything in Purgatory that we wanted to do and just a short drive from Durango and from other cute areas. Lots of places for kids to sleep in this condo and a huge common area to hang out in. I would say that this condo is good for only one family at a time, due to the way the sleeping space is setup, but that really works for us. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions.

Fabulous, clean property, great location & host!

Great property - just as described. Nice little touches (Legos, games, extremely well-stocked kitchen, cute little signs & instructions). The entire property is SO well-organized. Purgatory is such a gorgeous location! Everywhere you go from there is amazing! Jeep trails with breathtaking views, the summer activities at Purgatory Resort, the adorable town of Silverton, the gorgeous drive to Ouray, Baker's Bridge, playing in creeks and waterfalls where ever we went, there is no end to what you can do here! We also experienced amazingly prompt communication from Erica (our host). We had a little bit of an issue getting in upon arrival and she was SO fast to respond and get everything worked out. I really appreciated her immediate answers every time we needed anything. If you're confused about the bedroom description . . . there is one real bedroom containing double-sized bunk beds & a daybed. At the back of that bedroom is a large walk-through closet (which contains 3 mattresses against the wall that we didn't use), through that closet is a little bonus space with a futon and a TV. There is also a queen bed and a sofa sleeper (which we also didn't use) in the HUGE living room. My 9yr old son LOVED the bonus space because the drawers under the bed were full of Legos and he didn't have to share a space (or a TV) with his siblings. But he did have to walk through the closet, the room where his siblings slept, the living room where my husband and I slept and finally through the dining room any time he needed to go to the bathroom, but he didn't seem to mind at all. All in all, it was a great experience, at a reasonable price, in a perfect location, with a great host. We would definitely stay here again!!

The resort is beautiful! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub & restaurants.The house was well appointed, organized & pretty clean. The beds were a little small for teenage boys & the bed that my husband and I slept on in the living room had a foam mattress that was not comfortable. As a family of 7 with three teenagers we were not used to sharing one bathroom. That was really the only downside. Other than that a very nice stay!

Great location, comfort, and communication!

We had an amazing weekend here! It was a short walk to the slopes, every bed was comfy and they provided us with blankets and towels galore! Also had Toys and games and sleds for the kids which was amazing! Ericka had great communication before, during, and after our trip! Only thing that the listing doesn’t really express is that the 2nd bedroom is only accessible through the other bedroom. There is a door that closes to it, but if you have to use the restroom in the middle of the night you have to walk through bedroom 1 to get out to the main area. We are a large family so it wasn’t a big deal, but had we come with a friends group it would’ve been uncomfortable. All around, it was a wonderful condo and we are likely to return! Thank you for everything!

Great homey place to stay

My family of four had plenty of room, bed and couches were comfortable. Unlike many generic rentals in the area, we really felt like the owners were opening their home to us with so many small personal touches and items there. (Ice pack in the freezer for a ski injury was much appreciated!) Checkin/out was simple, location was a short walk to the lifts was easy. It is a basement unit without a ton of light but not really a big deal. Highly recommend.

Christmas holidays in purgatory

We just got back from Durango. The owners and manager were very helpful and hospitable. We found it very comfortable for our family of four (I think we could have fit another half dozen kids with all he beds around the place). The only negatives were that the unit was a little dated and dark. Location was great for skiing. Unit was well stocked with lots of comfy blankets. Overall, it met expectations.
