Wonderful home, beautiful surroundings

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The back patio, fire pit, hot tub were enjoyed soaking in the beautiful weather. Great house for a family.

Heaven on the lake

Wonderful vacation home! Great location - not too close, not too far from Durango. Easy day trips to Mesa Verde National Park, Silverton and Ouray. Lots of great hiking very close too.

Amazing house

We rented for a long weekend. The house was amazing. Has everything anyone would need to relax and be comfortable. Beautiful location and we enjoyed every minute.

Beautiful deck and surroundings and close to mountain resort. Nice private lake with canoe and paddleboat. Very responsive to our requests.

Ski week

Went to Durango for week of skiing with 5 other friends. The house & location was perfect. Comfortable living area, great views, beautiful hot tub and functional kitchen. Manager should check lockbox which sticks a little. Highly recommend this house.

Perfect location, incredible house, unbelievable view!

This home is first class! We stayed here while we skied at Wolf Creek. The home was an oasis and the perfect place for us to wind down by the fire each night! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and gorgeous views of the mountains.

Great location/great house

This house was perfect for my family of 4. We loved the location and the accommodations were great. More difficult to get to the lake than I imagined- but we made it. We were there when the leaves were changing and it was breathtaking!

Paradise in the Mountains

Stop looking and book this place! The view is incredible, and it’s conveniently located to everything you need. The beds are so comfy, and the cabin is well stocked. The hot tub is wonderful, and the kids had an awesome time exploring the trail down to the lake. We will for sure be back.

We loved this house SO much! The perfect location and a beautiful property. The host was very accommodating and kind. The caretaker was incredibly nice and always willing to help. We hope to return soon!

Excellent Stay for Spring Break

Great stay, very clean property, excellent location to the ski slopes. The hot tub was an awesome amenity. Good touches such as box fans in each bedroom made us very comfortable. The housekeeper was very reachable when we needed assistance, and the communication was as good as could be. Although there were a few hiccups during our stay, it was overall a very pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to stay here again in the future! Travelled with two families total, with 5 kids who really enjoyed the bunkbed room.

Awesome place, good location.

We enjoyed our stay. There were no surprises or disappointments. The house was easy drive to Silverton or Durango. The owner was very easy to work with and wanted to make sure that everything was right for us.

Close to the slopes!!

Great spot for enjoying the slopes and then returning to a cozy home with fire place and hot tub! If it is snowing making sure you have 4x4 drive and maybe even chains.

Perfect setup!

We arrived to a immaculately clean home that was already warmed up! Less than a 2 minute drive to the ski area. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Thank you. Just needed the outdoor trash can to be available..

Wonderful getaway

Second time staying here. Love everything about this place. Property is in great shape, and owner makes effort to keep things in top shape. We had zero issues with anything. Amazing view every morning. Only have been here during the summer and it is such a nice break from the heat. Thank you!!

Beautiful but concerns.

This property was beautiful and in a great location. Close to Purgatory Ski Resort! The property does need a deep cleaning, dryer needs maintained, and cook stove needs attention. However the owner Dave was very helpful and apologetic and returned my cleaning fee. I believe any family would enjoy staying at this property if these issues are addressed.

Wonderful and Relaxing Stay

Our family stayed at this home for 3 nights and loved every minute! It was close enough yet far enough away from Durango! The home is very spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. We felt right at home and were welcomed by the property manager who was great! Fantastic views, even with an abundance of snow surrounding the property. The road to the home was perfectly clear and easy to navigate. Best part is how quiet it is and how clear the sky is to see the best view of the Colorado stars! We would stay here again for sure!

As Advertised - Beautiful Views and Nice Property

Our family (4 adults, 5 children) stayed here over winter break to ski at Purgatory and enjoy the beautiful location. The property is perfectly sited above a lake with views of the mountain ridges nearby and a short drive to skiing. The hot tub was a big highlight where we could enjoy the views in complete privacy. The property owner (Dave) provided lots of useful information about the property, neighborhood, and surrounding area so we felt ready to enjoy our visit. The caretaker (Jonathan) was helpful to answer questions about the property and even offered to pick up bread from Durango while he was in town. We would love to return in the summer to hike and check out lake Purgatory when it's not frozen. Truly enjoyable visit.
