Beautiful

We had a wonderful time there. The location was perfect for Ouray, Silverton, Durango, and Mesa Verde. The house was a great size for the 8 of us. The views from the house made it hard to go anywhere else. We will miss the stunning mountain vistas!

Perfect for what we wanted and needed!

Had a big crew of three families. This place was a great space for all of us. Lots of room in the living room for everyone. Well stashed kitchen. The best part was the sleddin hill in front of the house and provided sleds. And the hot tub after a long day of skiing. Can’t recommend this place enough! Snow in Purg was awful but we made it work!

Mountain Retreat

A beautiful and accommodating home with great floor plan for multifamily. Only 3 miles from Purgatory and a short drive to Durango with many options. I highly recommend this house for your vacation.

Beautiful Location!

What a wonderful recent stay at this property. The home is updated and located directly beside the Hermosa Trail system. We could access trail from behind property and hiked to Castle Rock! Highly recommend!

Great Location

We had a group of 10 adults staying together in the house. There was plenty of space for all of us. The location is great for hiking and heading to different towns in the area. We were 30 min from Durango and about 30-40 min from Silverton. We caught the Aspens changing this fall about perfectly. Everything was beautiful. The hot tub on the patio was fantastic after a day of hiking. The house is also very close to Durango Hot Springs that many of us took advantage of while we were there. The cons, the downstairs game room/extra beds had kind of a funky smell. Not sure if it was a dog smell or maybe just musty. The pillows were not great. We searched around the house and they were all pretty much the same. We tried to double up where possible but even that wasn't all that helpful. The kitchen is a bit outdated, minus the monster stove/oven. However there was an extra refrigerator in the garage that was helpful with the amount of people we had staying in the house. We had plenty of pots/pans/spices/bowls/etc. to do a lot of cooking in the house. That was greatly appreciated. Other than that, we had great communication with the host(s). Check in and out was very easy. We had hail one day and it was nice to be able to access the garage.

Wow! What a beautiful home!

We are a group of friends and family who get together once a year and this year we chose the Purgatory, CO area. This is such a beautiful home! Each bedroom had a bathroom - so very important!! Towels in each bathroom, plus nice big towels for the great hot tub. And the kitchen!!! Plenty of plates, silverware, pots and pans, and a pantry that included some of this and some of that! Including spices and coffee filters!! A HUGE plus was the property management team - Thanks to Anna and Cindy for checking in on us to make sure all was good. We will definitely rent this home again when we come back to this area!

Gorgeous home for large family

I stayed here with my siblings families and there was plenty of room for all three families. Master bedroom was beautiful but every room had its own bathroom, even the downstairs kids area. There is a nice hiking trail right behind the house. Kitchen was enormous and we were able to cook up huge meals each night. We had an amazing 4th of July.

Family Reunion 2022

Very large/spacious property, with plenty of space for pets to roam and have fun. Very close to hiking trails right outside the back door, with beautiful scenery and views all around.

Just as described

We are a picky group and this home was perfect. Very clean! The living room had seating room for all 12 of us and the kids room downstairs was perfect for the little ones. We plan to book it for next year as well!

Perfect location, generous space

We had some issues with the property which the property manager attempted to fix. Kitchen appliances need some maintenance. Window coverings also need maintenance. All in all, we had a great time and we would rent again. The WiFi worked super and the televisions were all in great shape. The hot tub was a welcome stop after our Jeep tour from Silverton.

The house was beautiful like the ad! We had multiple problems with all appliances in this home! It was not resolved after talking with the management company, they sent a repairman out and that did not cover it either. The management company is not appropriately aware of how the appliances work in the home. When we complained about gas coming from the dryer, they told me that was not possible because it was electric! Come to find out it is gas, had to unplug the dryer and pull it from the wall to keep gas from coming out. Which meant we had one dryer in the home for 10 people. When we enter the home to begin our stay, the buzzer was going off on the gas range we tried to reset multiple times. But to no avail, contacted the Premier management, they said they would send somebody out to fix it we had to turn the breaker off to the range to keep it from not going off all night long. They sent someone the next day, all they did was flip the breaker on it took a few minutes it never came on for the repair man, but when we came home with another day it was going off, all he had done was turn the breaker back on. The double drawer refrigerator never did work. The gas range did not work along with a dryer. There were several lightbulbs and floodlights through the home not working. One light fixture in one bedroom had a broken light at the receptacle where we could not replace the bulb ourselves. The hot tub which we were there for seven days by the second day was reeking of odor and we had no chemicals to take care of it.

Fantastic house, Fantastic location

This house worked perfectly for 4 couples all who had separate bedrooms and baths.. several of us were working remotely and each had our own “office areas” outside of the bedrooms to do our zoom calls. The house was well appointed including: kitchen cookware and glasses, towels and toiletries etc. The photos don’t do the house justice for the functional use of the large kitchen and open gathering spaces with beautiful Mountain Views. A favorite location was either the front porch or the red cushioned window seat that looked across at the mountains. The low light pollution let us get great photos of the full moon, the Milky Way and thousands of stars. The house is close to many highly rated hikes including Elbert Creek Trail to Castle Rock - right out the back door. After climbing 1500’ to get to 10,600’ at the top of the peak - we were highly rewarded with the views. It’s an easy drive to Durango (30 min) and Purgatory (5 min) with a country store/gas station not 2 minutes from the property. And an incredibly scenic drive to Silverton (30 min) and Ouray (an hour) We stay with this group of friends in a lot of rentals across the country and they all were extremely pleased with the house, the layout and amenities.. Would rent again
