With direct access to the San Juan National Forest, guests can step right from the property onto nearby trails for hiking and exploring. Stargrove features two unique, rustic yurts, rented together as one property and accommodating up to 6 guests. The main yurt serves as the heart of the property, with the kitchen, living area, full bathroom, and sleeping space for four guests. A second yurt provides a separate sleeping space with a queen bed for two additional guests, giving families or groups a little extra room and privacy. This is not a traditional home—it's a quiet, off-grid experience designed for those looking for a simpler, more nature-connected stay. Evenings are best enjoyed by the glow of the wood stove, soft lighting, and the stars overhead. Inside the main yurt, you'll find an open floor plan with a full kitchen, dining area for four, and a cozy living space with a queen sleeper sofa. A loft above includes two twin beds. The main yurt also includes a full bathroom with a shower, a wood stove for warmth, and a smart TV, along with books and games for relaxing downtime. Starlink WiFi is available, but the setting encourages you to slow down and unplug. The second yurt offers a queen bed and additional private sleeping space for two guests, making Stargrove a great option for families, couples traveling together, or a small group looking for a truly unique Colorado getaway. The surrounding grounds are lush and thoughtfully cared for, with a beautiful orchard featuring apples, peaches, pears, and more, along with berry bushes and gardens. Towering cottonwood trees provide shaded sitting areas, creating a peaceful haven for nature lovers. Step outside to fully embrace the setting: a small pond just steps from the yurts, a large open field, and multiple outdoor spaces to relax. Unwind in the hammock, gather around the firepit, or enjoy the charming gazebo with a swing chair. A teepee adds another fun, unique touch to the landscape. With stunning views of the iconic red cliffs of the Animas Valley and a quiet, private atmosphere, Stargrove offers a truly immersive outdoor experience. Stargrove is fully off-grid and powered by solar energy, offering a truly unique and sustainable stay. Power is limited and designed for light use, so guests should be mindful of energy consumption. Heating is provided by a cozy wood stove and propane, adding to the rustic, cabin-like atmosphere. While modern comforts are available, this is not a conventional home experience.
