Ski weekend
Perfect place for our family of 4. Super comfortable beds (even sofa bed)! And so easy to get to the slopes. Nice little welcome amenities too. Very helpful property manager.

Best Vrbo we have stayed in
We have stayed at silverpick many times, but this was by far the cleanest and best stocked condo. The hosts are very thoughtful and provide alot of little things most Vrbos lack. We will definitely be back!

Simply the best.
We are spoiled for other long term rentals. The condo was perfectly appointed, fully stocked and welcoming. The views from the porch were breathtaking. We hiked on trails and fished in nearby lakes. This was the perfect home away from home.

Snow mania
Best condo. Short distance to slopes and beautiful drive into town to eat or shop. Over 66 inches before we arrived and then additional 6-10 during our stay. Great skiing and absolutely beautiful condo and scenery. Will stay here again.

Lovely condo in the mountains
This condo is perfect for two people. Clean, comfortable bed, wonderful shower, and a well stocked kitchen! It’s located near great hiking trails and other activities. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing we missed was a washer and dryer.

We absolutely loved this condo!! It was so clean and beautifully decorated. In addition, it was stocked with just about everything you could think of for use by anyone staying there. The location was perfect for those you love to hike as there were so many trails and so little time. We will definitely be back in the future. The only negative was that after our LONG hike we were looking forward to hitting the hot tub. However, someone had turned down the heat to 78 degrees and it did not warm up before we went to bed.

We had a fantastic 2 week stay at Krista's cabin. Everything was five star. Very clean, very spacious. Comfortable king bed. Great communication with owner and property manager. Fully stocked kitchen. I could go on and on. Great place!

Great Condo
We had a very comfortable stay at this condo. It was very clean, great well stocked kitchen, wonderful bathroom, and super-comfortable bed with high quality linens. We also enjoyed the hot tub after our long hikes. The hosts were very nice and provided everything we needed.

5 Heart rating because we Loved it !!
My husband and I were blessed to stay here for a week. The views of the mountains were amazing and beautiful !! It snowed several inches one day while we were there in April and we were thrilled because we never see snow in Florida. It was the perfect location for visiting Durango, Silverton, Ouray and the Million Dollar Hwy. The Million Dollar Hwy is one of the prettiest roads that we have ever driven. We also loved eating at the James Ranch (grass fed beef) a couple of times which was just about fifteen minutes away. Communication with the owner and the property manager was excellent. We were very comfortable here and we would definitely book this place again if we make it this way out West again.

Great location nice amenities
The property is very convenient for a ski trip to purgatory. The kitchen was well stocked which was great given that there are not nearby stores. The pre-trip communication was excellent.

Hi Julie! So glad you had a wonderful stay and were able to enjoy our epic snow! We are proud of our well-stocked kitchen, but also wanted to make you aware, for your next stay, that there are two stores very close by to pick up basic groceries. At the base area is the "Village Grocery and Deli" (half a mile north) and Needles General Store (one mile south). We also suggest PJ's Gourmet Market (like a mini Whole Foods!) and James Ranch Market (amazing local produce, delicious artisan products, local meats, eggs and cheese and some homemade prepared foods like lasagne, chili and shepherd's pie) both located about 15 minutes south. Hope you can joins us again!

Fantastic Condo 5 minutes from Purg
Everything in this listing is completely accurate. The bathroom is gorgeous with stone tiles and an incredible shower. My children really enjoyed the super comfortable sofa bed compared to previous sofa beds. The owners have thought of every detail and kindly supply wood for the fireplace and really every extra you might need. The decor is beautiful and tasteful. We had fun watching Nacho Libre and and Avengers movie from their collection as well as playing some PS 2 games apres ski. We would absolutely stay here again when skiing at Purgatory. The owners and property manager were easy to communicate with and offered great suggestions and answers to our queries. Thank you!!

Perfect Holiday Getaway!
What a perfect place for a holiday getaway! Krista and Gabor's place is lovely! Beautiful updates and absolutely everything you need when staying away from home. Even with 20 inches of snow, the facility was well-attended and parking and sidewalks were continuously cleared, making it easy to get to skiing and snowboarding. Thank you, Krista and Gabor! We will definitely return sometime! :)

Excellent Stay
Our good friends booked out the lodge at Silverpick for the weekend so this condo could not have been more convenient. We flew out in the early morning from California forgetting our sunglasses bc it was before sunrise, how awesome that they had sunglasses and some other treats waiting on the counter for our arrival. We took a dip in the community hot tub which was clean and fully operational. Also, nice coffee station in the kitchen for mornings. Not much more to ask for! Great stay!

Much needed respite

Amazing Condo
Our family of 4 (kids ages 6 & 10) stayed 4 nights and loved the property. The condo was not only spotless, it had everything you could imagine needing. It is in the back of the block of units, so the deck has views of the aspen grove behind as well as the Needles. We opened a window at night and slept soundly with the fresh mountain air. There are a few short hiking trails off the back, too, that I really enjoyed and even got my oldest to do one with me! You are a bit out of town, about half way between Durango and Silverton, but that gives you access to all recreational activities you could want! All this to say, we really enjoyed our stay at Silverpick and would stay there again. Oh, and we had our boys sleep on the pull-out sofa and we took the king bed in the bedroom (there's a television in their as well). ;) Thank you!
