Amazaing Condo-Pictures Don't Do Justice

This condo is absolutely amazing. Clean, directly across from ski lift with a well stocked kitchen. The pictures do not do this place justice. The master suite was delightful with a fireplace and seating area. It was the perfect spot to ring in the new year with our family. We hope to be back!

Clean property. Mattress in master bedroom rock hard Fire place in living room was broken during our stay. Property backs up to US 550....lots of road noise. Good response from property management on issues

Family getaway

Well started out great but thus property is basically sitting next to busy highway no peace in quiet here road noise allday & night very loud then the fire place did not work in living room then the floors on the first floor hallway to kitchen had not been moped or cleaned properly in awhile dirty plus the upper & lower balconies were completely filthy unusualable chairs & floor deck areas completely covered in filth sad 😔 not able to enjoy them other than that the property was ok

Great Christmas ski trip!

We are a family of 7 with 5 kids. House was decorated for Christmas! Ski bus picked us up within 5 minutes of calling. 2 fireplaces keep the house warm. Love the keypad access so no fumbling for keys. Crockpot and griddle were a plus. Wish there were 9x13 casserole pans.

Disappointed

The condo we had reserved was not available.. Luckily I checked my email that morning and saw where they had changed our unit. The condo they gave us didn't have two king beds which is specifically why we had reserved the one we did. We paid the extra 4% fee to use the hot tub but it was a drive aross the highway and then quite a walk from parking lot. The patio was very noisy with highway traffic.

Perfect for fall break

Great location and property. We all loved our stay. Could see beautiful fall colors from the patio. Girls love the bunk bed. Fully furnished with all supplies. Only thing to note. there were food crumbs on floor and dishwasher was full. had to run it and empty to load ours.

Dirty sheets/ bathtub and shower

The property itself was very nice however it was not cleaned properly. The master bedroom sheets had hair and stains on them. The master shower also had hair in it on the walls. The master bathtub looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. Location and neighborhood were quite nice although would have been nice to know about ongoing construction.

Great vacay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. All rooms were nicely furnished and was a good size for our party of 6. Location is directly across the street from Purgatory Resort entrance, so perfect for anyone wanting to visit.

The perfect place!

This place has the perfect location, close proximity to the resort and all it's amenities as well as the hiking trails. It was so easy to walk right out the door and hit a local trail with stunning views! We also loved the layout of this unit, perfect for a family. Everyone had their own space to relax. We loved the cozy sitting room off the master suite and it seemed to be the favorite spot for family tv watching in the evenings. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful place to stay

This was a great place to stay. All the luxurys of home. We didn't need to take anything but our belongings and food. The only thing we weren't aware of was the additional fee for pool and hot tub. Also be aware that they are across the road at Pergatory.

Beautiful, Spacious, Well Equipped

This is our second stay in this unit. We stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much, we chose to stay again this year. The townhome is in an excellent location (a bit of a drive to Durango), has plenty of room and is well equipped for a family stay. We highly recommend this location.

Great family getaway place

Very nice, homey condo. Easy to access and communicate with the very helpful property managers. Comfortable beds and pillows. We were there in the summer. Would be perfect for winter ski trip with the resort across the street.

Beautiful

Had trouble finding the pool! I had to ask a security guard how to find it! It’s not near the condo! You also have to pay extra to use the pool! Would of been nice to kno that info before hand! One of the toilets was clogged. The one in the upstairs master. That wasn’t that big of a deal because there were two other bathrooms. The property was perfect besides those small things. Absolutely beautiful home! The location was perfect! I would love to stay again and definitely recommend!!! ❤️

Spring Break adventure

The condo was everything advertised and more! We have stayed at so many different Putgatory condos but never at the Black Bear location. The three bedroom 2 1/2 bathrooms were very spacious and very well decorated. The two fireplaces, especially the one in the master bedroom, were an added bonus. The view from both decks of the ski resort and mountains were perfect. Having your own garage and driveway to park and unload and load all your luggage and gear made moving in and out so much easier. The “on demand” being free and so easy to use made this location just as nice or even better than being slopeside. The rental agency was very easy to work with and answered any questions promptly. Would highly recommend this property and the rental agency!

Beautiful Home with Gorgeous Scenery

We had an excellent time staying here. My teens were very comfortable and entertained, my husky and I loved tromping through the snow and exploring the area, and skiing next door was awesome. Additionally, we rediscovered how much we like putting together jigsaw puzzles together :) Thanks so much

Nice Spot Away From Town

This was a great little spot for a weekend getaway. We drove down from Denver Thursday evening for the long Labor Day weekend. Place was super easy to find even at about midnight in the dark. Brought the dog with us and it was a great spot for him as well as there is good places to walk nearby. Place was very clean and a great access to local spots such as Silverton and I just a quick drive to Mesa Verde. The nugget and old school house or great little places to eat right down the street from where we’re staying, maybe a five minute drive.
