We arrived Sunday at 5 PM to a power outage, which did not get restored until 11 PM. This was no fault of the owner and the rental agent was very responsive that evening trying to help. No electric meant no heat, no water, no refrigerator & no stove. Thankfully we brought flashlights, dry wood, kindling & fire to get the wood stove working. We departed Friday morning & no further issues occurred. We like to cook and think the appliances need updating, they have the noisiest refrigerator and the burners on the electric stove are wobbly, dishwasher leaves a film on everything. We brought our own knives but there were good knives there, good silverware, nice coffee pot, well lit kitchen, salt, pepper, olive oil - good basic supplies. Hot water & bathrooms were great. King bed in the loft - very comfortable. Deck & backyard, also very nice. Gas grill, relatively new and nice. Great location, close to hiking & fishing but if you enter the Electra lake area it costs $10/person/day just to enter and $15/person/day if you want to fish. Don't even think about fishing unless you have a boat.
