We had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and smelled nice, everything was well stocked. The soap in the kitchen and bathroom smelled so good. The hot tub was hot and relaxing. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was spotless and well organized. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub, and the thoughtful touch of having fresh coffee beans and a French press ready to use made our mornings perfect.We’d absolutely recommend staying here!

Absolutely perfect. bed was very comfortable with nice sheets; loved kitchen - French press/ coffee and coffee grinder was so neat and delicious. Wallpaper with squirrels was so cute. I have been wanting to stay in Dunsmuir- I worked at clinic there for 3 years but you are so busy there’s never any time to check out Dunsmuir. My husband and I finally got to check out Dunsmuir brewery and just walk around Dunsmuir, and visit bee kind bakery! Everything there and at the brewery was so delicious Child locks were awesome on lower cabinets for keeping my 2 1/2 year old out. Overall super cute, clean, quiet. We also loved hot tub- was perfect as we are re-painting and re- doing floors at our house and needed a refuge for a little bit! Thank you so much again for hosting us!!

This is a cute place to stay. The fenced backyard was great for the dog. A hot tub was a HUGE plus. Inside is so warm and cozy. And soooo much hiking in the area. Will defiantly be back!!!!

The great escape from the Fourth of July booms!

Wonderful cottage that is incredibly private (even though it’s below the home). Well stocked kitchen with good knives and appliances (something people tend to skimp on). We had a wonderful time here and look forward to coming back with our lil’ dog. Host was friendly and communicative- and we had our IRL neighbors in the other unit so it was awesome for shared dinners, drinks on the patio (coffee and wine), and game night. Dunsmuir is a wonderful little town and a nice escape from SF. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Peaceful and serene

Had a wonderful stay. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the morning s before our nature outings. Host was great! I would have like to had a later checkout than 10 am.

Nieces wedding in Mt. Shasta, CA a getaway w/my hubby!

The location was perfect & close to the wedding venue & time with family & friends in for our nieces wedding! The rehabbed little house was neat, clean, decorated really cute & well appointed!! It had everything we needed for our 5 day stay & then some! The host was just a text away & akways responded quickly!! The back deck was perfect forrelaxing w/morning coffee!! St. John’s Church was right around the corner for Sunday Mass & close to lots of good restaurants … like Lily’s, the Harvest & Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta and Pizza Factory & Penny’s Diner in Dunsmuir and Bogey’s Cafe in McCloud! We enjoyed hiking & ckg out the following waterfalls … Faery Falls, Ney Falls, Mossbrae & McClouds River Three Waterfalls. Nice, friendly folks in both towns & we truly enjoyed our 5 days stay here! Thank you & wed definitely stay at this property again!!

Sweet cottage

This cottage is cute, modern and clean, and the hosts have thoughtfully included all you need. Since Dunsmuir has limited dining options the well-appointed kitchen was perfect. We loved our stay here, and will come back again

Another great stay!

This was our second time staying here and we absolutely love it! The space is so comfortable and the yard is great for our 2 little dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub and patio even with the weather changing over to fall. Another great stay and. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Clean and accommodating

The hosts accommodated our early check in request, which was very helpful since we were traveling with a very young baby. You can tell they go out of their way to ensure the guests have a good experience. I would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect weekend getaway!

I chose this listing to spend the weekend relaxing but also exploring the area and Mt Shasta. It had everything I needed to really settle in and enjoy myself. I loved that the AC was already on when I arrived as it was 102 that day! The host was super great with communication and info. She gave me all the necessary info at specific times, this was nice as sometimes it’s overwhelming to read huge books of instructions when staying at rentals. The location is great, walking distance to the market and restaurants, and only a 10 minute drive to the city of Mt Shasta. Everything was clean, well stocked kitchen, hot tub worked great, and nice quiet neighborhood. I would absolutely stay here again next time I go to Shasta (:

This Place was Awesome!

My husband, sister-in-law, and dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and comfy. The hostess supplied many welcoming touches to make us feel at home. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck and it was so peaceful. Our dog really enjoyed the small yard. We also like how it was in walking distance to eateries in town. One minor thing I might note is the steep stairs and uneven flagstone path may be difficult for some older people. It wasn’t really a problem for us (we are in our 70s) but it would have been for many of our friends. I think something should be noted in the description so there are no surprises. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. We would rebook and recommend to others.

Overnight get away
