"This is a nice old estate in the countryside, about 30 mins from Edinburgh. The setting is beautiful, there is a river and forest just a short walk from the estate. Our room (#2) was a okay, the wallpaper was cute and beds were comfy but the wood floor under the carpet needed to be screwed down, it was SO LOUD every time you walked on it. The shared living space was large and nice, the kitchen was huge. Overall, we would stay again!"

"Really nice apartment in a great location to the square. Close by to the bars, cafes, restaurants and also not far from the Castle and main roads to get into Kelso. Check in was easy as the owner sent us details of how to get in and everything was very straight forward. Rooms were comfy, well decorated and it was a fantastic space overall.
