"We really enjoyed our stay at Thimblewynd from Aug 09 - 24 and would recommend cottage to others. Cottage was ideally suited for two of us. Loved the character of the house combined with the modern amenities i.e. updated upstairs bathroom. "The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside...

Von hier hat man einen idealen Ausgangspunkt nach Stirling und Edinghburgh und kehrt anschließend in eine herrliche Idylle zurück. Die Gastgeber sind sehr warmherzig und offen und haben uns wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt und unsere Ausflüge gegeben. Zudem wurden wir mit Milch, Toast, Butter und Schokolade begrüßt.Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.Lars, Dagmar, Mathis und Hannes K."

"Just had a three night stay here and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. A good location for visiting Edinburgh and Stirling although plenty to do in the local area as well. The host Lorna was very close by and the local pub being next door also helped. Would highly recommend and will visit again for sure. "

"Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. "My two friends and I had a weekend away at Logie Cottages. We had a wonderful time. The cottage is a very high standard and has all the amenities you might need. The hot tub was great and the setting is picturesque. Georgina allowed us to check in early. I would recommend staying here. "
