Wonderful House

We had a fantastic time at The White House. Everything was perfect including the pool and dock. We swam in both the pool which is basically attached to the porch as well as off the dock in the beautiful water. We saw a few other houses friends were staying in and ours was by far the best. Very open on the main floor with lots of room to spread out. All bedrooms were nice, particularly the main with attached porch overlooking the pool/dock. The AC system worked perfectly which is not what we heard from some other houses. Shabba was very helpful as our house manager. We highly recommend this property!

property is tired, but accomodates a lot of people

Positive: easy boat deck access, pool, plenty of outdoor seating, large living room and indoor dining, and great layout. Negative: arrived to smell of sewage in downstairs bathroom/bedroom (took 2 days to fix), had to sleep on sofas for 2 nights; tile in upstairs bathroom is very dirty, kitchen floors with dirty (feet were black). and pool was full of leaves, feathers and dead bugs.

Paradise!!

The White House was amazing! Loved the location, view… We would definitely return. Our only complaint was that it was only cleaned twice in six days. Such a beautiful house! Perfect for families to share. Amazing view, pool, location!!! Hope to come back soon! Love the island as well!! Thank you!!!

A great trip to paradise!

We loved our stay at the White House! The pool was heated to the perfect temperature, the house was clean (and cleaned daily, which was amazing!) and the information before arrival was clear and direct. We can’t wait to come back!

Special Birthday Celebration in Beautiful Harbour Island

Amazing Harbour Island stay

This was our first visit to Harbour Island and the White House on Colebrook Road was amazing and perfect for our group of 10. It was such a short distance to everyplace on the island, the house and views were amazing, and access to the water taxi incredible. The house and pool were so perfect for our group of 6 adults, two twenty-somethings, and 2 little kids. We had plenty of space to spread out, enjoy the sun and the pool, swim off the dock, and access the beach via walking or golf cart. And only a 5 min walk to Cocoa Coffee. Anita was so responsive and helpful and we hope to return again soon. Thank you so much for a great stay!!!

Five Star Stay at the White House

Our stay at the White House could not have been better. We traveled with 5 adult couples, so the bedroom/bathroom setup was perfect. Shabba and Shalese did excellent job of keeping the house, pool and premises clean. Anita was very responsive and helpful during the booking process and in answering questions about the property and the island. The recommendations in the Arrival Information Pack provided by Anita were spot on (especially the boat charter with Ryan at Spanish Wells Fishing - the full day island tour with Ryan was amazing). The convenience of being dropped off and picked up at our own private dock was a huge added bonus. Prior to our trip, we were aware of the one or two negative reviews about the property, but the criticisms in those reviews were not experienced by us. When we return to Harbour Island, we would absolutely stay at the White House again...the entire trip was a 5 Star experience!

Great location!

We really did enjoy the house and its proximity to to the dock for boat trips as well as its positioning to "town"/ restaurants (very close). The house was well equipped and the rooms were super clean! The driveway is large and can fit many golf carts if needed. The only downfall for us was that the pool was shaded all day and we wanted lots of sun. Great house and the property manager was FAB! --Sabra, West Palm Beach Florida

Not as expected

The property is great, but needs much attention. Everything needs to be groomed in the yard. Mosquitoes are a huge issue due to overgrowth. The house is another story. Everything is falling apart. We were told it will be totally renovated after our stay. It should not have been rented for the price we paid . The front door lock broke and we couldn’t get in after a day of fishing. We spent 1/2 our day trying to get someone to fix and we ended up finding a ladder and thankfully we left the upstairs sliding door open to get in. The caretaker was very nice, but he or anyone was not able to fix the door. We exited and entered via back door and could not lock the home. The property will be great when everything is completely renovated. Until then, you should not have charged a fee that represents a home in perfect condition because that is a false statement.

Perfect for family reunion

26 people on the island and CasaTuna houses most. Beautiful home on the water. We were able to keep our 72’ boat at the dock, no issues & super convenient, communication with the property managers was instant. Perfect location, easy to find. Loved it all. See you next year,

Loved it!

I have been to the island many times over the last 40 years. This house fit all our needs. Very lovely! We enjoyed the close to town and beach location, walking easily to both. The pool and poolside area was wonderful for our family of 20 something kids and parents for hanging out and even our remote work outs. The dock was a wonderful bonus for walking down for coffee and afternoon sunsets. We loved the house- high ceilings, very comfortable beds, open feeling, great wifi, and the housekeeping was great. This is a luxury house, and I would say to others that note not everything was spiffy perfection, up to date, I disagree, or at least, I would say, this is still a high quality abode. Definitely I would stay here again, it was great for family and friends.
