Beautiful property located right in Lake Erie. We felt very safe taking a peaceful evening stroll along the water to watch the sunset. Just a couple miles drive to SUNY Fredonia.

Always a great place to stay. The alarm on our safe in room kept going off during the night. We spoke to the front desk in the morning and they were going to look after it.

I was pleasantly surprised with the room. It was absolutely clean, decently decorated, and comfortably furnished. The bed provided good support and the sheets were decent quality.The bathroom fixtures were somewhat worn, but completely functional.

We've stayed here several times in the last 2 years. The Indian food on Mon & Tues nights at the Steelbound Brewery in the hotel is great (as is the beer)! Beds are comfy. Rooms are clean. Best part of this hotel is the staff. They are friendly, responsive, and professional. There is a sidewalk along the lake that is wonderful for walking before or after a long car ride. It's easy to get to the hotel from I-90.For the money, it's a great deal!

Loved it! Great location, excellent Indian Food!! Friendly and helpful staff. The only issue is the TV. The front desk had to help twice during my 3 days, you have to unplug connection, get into the source and mess with an antennae. Beware ever time you turn it off you have to repeat the process. 😱in this day and age you really need to fix this. Shameful. All else was great but that was aggravating!

Room looked upgraded since last stay. Waffle batter was sour, bathroom ceiling in lobby was leaking with massive hole the were unaware of with drywall over the floor, service was super friendly.

The gentleman that was on duty at check in (3-11 shift but don't recall his name) was great! Everyone else was very good too but he went above and beyond helping us and especially my parents. He helped them with their luggage and was extremely accommodating. Unfortunately we were there to attend a funeral but under the circumstances, the staff did a great job making us feel comfortable. Thank you for a job well done!

You get what you pay for ..
The location was perfect however the hotel is outdated. There was a big stain on the carpet as soon as you opened the hotel room door. The room had a musky smell & the bathroom well it needs a major update.

We loved the upgraded room. Only thing we did not like was there is nothing in the shower to hold your soap or hand your washcloth

Nice people, good price: still not worth it.
While the people were wonderful, the room was in poor shape — stains on the chair and bathtub, poor lighting in the bathroom, a toilet that just kept running, a super loud air conditioner/heater, and a faint yet distinct smell.

The Clarion was good. Entrance foyer is very nice, bright, clean, welcoming. The bar and breakfast area is cute too. The rooms were ok. Nothing over the top, but there is clear evidence that the building is aging and could use a little TLC. The thermostat in our room stopped working the second night, so we needed a fan to keep air circulating. Staff was quick to respond and brought us a fan when requested. In all, it was a fine hotel, nothing terrible. However, to be honest, it was not worth the $200/night we paid. We would have had the same experience at a much cheaper hotel.

The front deck attendant was fine. I had one drink at the bar and the experience was ridiculous. There were several young staff working, having a loud conversation among themselves filled with F bombs while other guests and I sat there. Completely unprofessional. The hotel is very outdated. I will not return

Stayed for a fishing trip- had to be at dock 6am so didn't get breakfast - was very convenient and food was great. Totally forgot to leave a tip
