Nice apartment in Dundee

Cozy apartment located right at the heart of Dundee. Nice kitchen fully equipped with all cooking materials. There is also a washer and a rack to dry laundry.

The apartment was overall very good, only let down by a poorly fitted kitchen tap, which was very wobbly but worked. We appreciated the supplied teabags, sachets of coffee, soap, towels etc. The deposit system was a bit confusing - I expected to see a £250 payment on my card to be followed by a refund, but it seems they just held the card details "in case" so I guess no charge will be made now, after over a week. The location was very convenient, only a few minutes' walk from the station, V&A, RRS Discovery etc. It was only let down by the bar three doors away having a singer most nights (not too bad) and what sounded like karaoke on the Friday, which got more out-of-tune as the evening went on. Maybe it's just me being sensitive to that as a musician. No problem in the bedroom but a bit intrusive in the living room if you're reading quietly. Not much Greenstar can do about it, and nobody else has mentioned it in reviews so it's probably me!

Excellent stay in the centre of Dundee

Accommodation excellent, very central . Dundee far exceeded my expectations, what a lovely place to visit. Only about a 10 minute walk from train station and most places walkable but also lots of buses if you want to explore. The apartment was just perfect, very comfortable and location couldn't have been better .

Great location but had some complaints

The apartment was in a great location for attending something at Caird Hall and for seeing some of the other sights in Dundee. Beds were comfy and living room reasonably furnished. We were put off by the front door which was very difficult to navigate with luggage. Then in the flat itself, there were inexplicable fire doors throughout, including in the bathroom! This meant a lot of banging about (a real problem at night with children) and generally it was really hard work just moving about between rooms, particularly when carrying plates between kitchen and living room. Bedside lights would have been helpful in the second bedroom as would a night light in the hall, which was completely dark. Generally it felt a bit cheaply done and there was a lot of badly applied paint and cracks etc, which didn't create a great impression. Quite spacious for the money though.

Perfect for our short stay

The 2-bed apartment was warm, clean and well presented. Beds were comfortable and shower was pleasant. The rooms overlooking Bell Street experienced some noise from a nearby pub, but that stopped around 11.30/midnight. Rooms at the back were very quiet. The kitchen is very small and had limited saucepans. We only used it for breakfast and lunch, so did not try cooking a full meal there. We found the door at the entrance and the doors within the flat were quite heavy due to the strong closures on them, but accept this is probably for security and fire prevention reasons. The location was ideal for visiting our student son who lives nearby. Within easy walking distance of both universities and city centre restaurants and attractions.

Cannot recommend staying here enough ! Fantastic apartment in such a fantastic area , centre only five minute walk away ! The building was very quiet and peaceful and the apartment was just perfect for what I needed! Host in constant communication and check-in was so simple! Thank you for a wonderful stay and I can’t wait to book again

Nice stay at Dundee

The apartment was a true reflection of the picture shown on the site. Near to city center and it's surroundings. A wonderful home way from home. The only thing lacking was the WIFI connection to the bedroom. You can stay within the vicinity of the living room if you need to use it. Get yourself ready for a little exercise as you climb the hilly stairs. I will love to repeat the journey.

The apartment was in a great location. Central to all the city amenities. Quite noisy street with a lively pub next door. Apartment shows signs of wear and tear and would benefit from some attention. Interestingly there was no heating at all in the main living area which meant we had to leave the door open to the entrance to get any heat into to the apartment.

Great stay

It was a great stay in Dundee. The apartment is located on a university campus with several pubs nearby. Its central location made it easy to walk to places more inland like Dundee Law as well as the main tourist sites along the water. The apartment itself was huge and nice. Would recommend!

Great apartment

The apartment was in good condition and in a great location. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond. It was cosy yet modern and had everything we needed. Only issue being the noise from outside but that cannot be helped, I would just recommend bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.
