Jonathan and his family were great guests. They treated the property and staff with respect and we hope they will return again in the very near future.

It was a pleasure meeting Sharona and her lovely family especially her 89 year old mother and her 4 year old granddaughter. It was glorious to have met and host 4 generations at the villa and I am most grateful to have done so.

Communication was very good and easy, the staff were treated with respect and kindness, and Stefan and party enjoyed being out and about discovery the area. We would love to have him back.

Nicolette and Nancy had a difficult time getting to the villa due to a storm and bad weather but they persisted and got there a day later. Communication was vital and Nicolette was a very good communicator. They were very kind to the staff, kept the property clean, and considering their trauma they were out and about the next day exploring other parts. I am pleased to hear that they had a good time and I wish them good luck and trust they will return again in the near future.

Communication with Seansgh was very good . The property was kept clean and tidy and we would love to see her and family again in the future.

The guests arrived at the property at the end of a two months stormy weather and the Island being tropical mosquitoes would be plentiful. All the windows in the property are meshed and all the beds have mosquito mesh. The guests were advised to keep the entrance doors closed to keep out the mosquitoes but the entrance doors were left opened all the time. I do not believe the Aircon would solve the problem of bites. I do however apologise to the guest for the breakdown of the Aircon. This was due to an electrical serge in the area and I was unaware that it had affected electrical appliances in the building at that time. All the Aircons are now in working order.

The guests spent the majority of their holiday without any complaints but a knife that they brought to the property got damaged by the cook in the process of cooking. The cook was told to use the kitchen utensils they brought and not the villa’s ones. The guests brought their own cutlery, plates, utensils etc. because they do not want to use the ones provided by the villa. I have no problem in that but my staff are accustomed to using the villas cutlery etc. I will not take responsibility for any breakages /damage done to items that are brought to the villa by guests to be used in the kitchen or elsewhere in the villa. Frankly I think this behaviour is going beyond the norm. I offered a refund via PayPal for the Sunday the cook could not work but the guest refused. They wanted to get VRBO involved in the issue and the refund but the time span had passed for VRBO to be involved. Frankly I really cannot see why this issue could not be resolved between the guests and me.

It was lovely to have a baby and a 2 year old in the property and quite fascinating to converse with a polite 2 year old who was not not at all afraid to speak. We thank you LaQuenta and family for choosing Yellow Canary for your holiday and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.

I and my 2 staff cleaned and prepared the property thoroughly into the afternoon before our guests arrive. I am appalled by his comment that the kitchen was dirty. My 10 years of hoisting I have never had that type of comment by any of my guests. In fact I have had the opposite comment. My housekeeper has had an awful time with these guests. Although their English was very good they appear not to want to speak to her. They only spoke to her if they had to. I have had good communication on the internet with the main guest but in their presence I found, also the cook who communicated happily with guests from around the world, found them to be “not pleasant”. As the same with these guests some of them want to cook their meals and we do not object to that but often the pots and pans and the stove are burnt so badly that we have to replace quickly what we can or try to deal with cleaning them as best as possible for use again. I can assure you that these guests never had that problem scouring pots as he claims as the pots and pans present are in good condition.

We are so pleased that the family have had a wonderful time both at the villa and nearby adventures. Thank you for being so kind to the staff and they extend their best wishes to the family. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

I am sorry to learn that Tamara was not responsive and friendly. Our main housekeeper/cook was away on holiday and Tamara is the assistant housekeeeper/cook but that.is no excuse for her behaviour. Many of our guests do not want the housekeeper/cook hanging around the property after meals so the procedure is that she cooks breakfast, clean up and return late afternoon to prepare dinner. I am sorry that this was not explained to our guest. In respect of the Aircon, there is another bedroom in the property with Aircon that the guest could have used if the smaller bedroom was not suitable to use with the fan. Had I known there was a problem it could have been solved.

Dawoon and family were very relaxed and easy to get along with and it was lovely to have a baby in the house. The family was very friendly and clean and have treated the property as it were their own. Joan the cook enjoyed cooking them meals and we would love to have them back in the future.
