A really very special place!Honestly, stop searching and just book here. Its hard to know where to start but everything is perfect. The family who own it could not be nicer and have ran this as a holiday rental for many years so know how to host, the villa is spotlessly clean, house is well equipped and has everything you could possibly want or need. The pool was a perfect temperature, hot tub a fantastic bonus, and the tennis/basketball/football court was so much fun, it's flood lit so we were out here till mid night some nights with our son creating memories we'll never forget. You need a car if your staying here as it's in the country side, but everywhere is easy to get to, cavtat was by far our favourite place and this was a 15 mins drive. Thank you Mario for everything, hope to see you again.

This was a magical stay in a wonderful villa. The family owners greeted us on arrival, and were on hand through the week if anything was needed. The facilities were exceptional, perfect for a young family with different priorities and needs during a stay. You can see the runway lights of Dubrovnik Airport on the horizon, meaning this is a short journey to your stay, and also within a short drive of Cavtat and Dubrovnik. We would gladly stay again, enjoying the pool, the tennis court, the games room, the pristine accommodation, the wine from the vineyard and the olive oil from the grove, the glorious rural hills and mountains and stunning sunsets. Thank you for a perfect holiday break.

Home Away from Home

We felt right at home in this beautiful retreat. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch every evening. Breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains, perfect for relaxation and inspiration. Mario was very friendly and very helpful. The friendliness was unbeatable. We really enjoyed our stay at the villa Milicic and will return for sure. Thank you for everything Mario :-)

Beautiful and peaceful oasis

Lovely well appointed villa with everything you need for a lovely week. Amazing views and such peace. Swimming pool and jacuzzi both wonderful, as is the view. Tennis court gave us lots of fun. We also loved having table tennis and pool table and the gym. The sauna is also a real plus. We loved our week here and were well looked after by Mario and Luca . Thank you

Beautiful!

We loved the serenity of this gated country villa with its seemingly endless acres of trees, mountains and farmland. A lovely 30 min drive to Dubrovnik along stunning coastal roads, we looked forward to playing tennis and relaxing in the sauna after a day in the city. This was often the highlight of our day. The grounds were impeccably maintained and had a country club feel. The outdoor fireplace, once manually started can also be used to grill. The inside of this country house was comfortably furnished with plush soft linens on comfortable beds. One bedroom had a king sized bed with its own small bathroom while the other two had two twins put together, each with an unconnected bathroom. One of these bathrooms was large with a luxurious jetted tub and ample counter space. upon arrival we stocked up on basic groceries and coffee in the market just a few min away. There were lots of extra blankets and towels. The small kitchen was equipped with well working appliances and cookware. The living and dining rooms were large and outfitted with basic furniture and comfortable. The AC worked well in all the rooms. The host was warmly welcoming and responsive. We would love to come back here and to Dubrovnik, by far the most beautiful place in Croatia. We loved stopping in quaint Cavtat on the way for a meal or stroll. I wish we had spent more time here rather than in Split. We will never forget the outdoor areas and the sense of peace it brought!

Superb villa

The Villa literally has everything you can possibly want for a relaxed break. The hosts are a warm friendly and welcoming The Villa in our opinion is ideally located, just outside a village which has supermarkets, restaurants, and is ideal for local beaches and surrounding areas plus very close to the Montenegrin border We have stayed in numerous villas around the world over the past few years, we always rate them and this currently stands in first place On the whole we would thoroughly recommend this villa We had an amazing relaxed break

A fantastic property in beautiful peaceful countryside

The villa is very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Beautifully presented and very clean. Mario and his mother are excellent hosts and made us very welcome. 3 double bedrooms, each with very comfortable beds (all have 2 3'x6'3" beds together) 2 bedrooms have a small en suite shower room and there is a generous family bathroom with shower over a spa bath. Quality bed linen, towels and pool towels. Efficient aircon in the bedrooms. Windows have outer shutters, an insect net and double glazing. Small kitchen but well-equipped. Lovely shaded terrace for outdoor dining and a big built-in barbecue. Good sun loungers and a large Jacuzzi in the gated pool area. Families should be aware that the pool has no shallow end - 1.8m depth all over with steps at one end. Large grounds surround the villa with space for ball games as well as olive trees and an orchard. Views of surrounding countryside and mountains. Tennis court with basketball net. Well-equipped gym room with pool table and wine cooler fridge. The village of Gruda (3 mins drive) has several small supermarkets, a butcher, baker and pharmacy. Excellent restaurants within 5 to 10 mins drive as well as the lovely Kuca in Gruda and a pizzeria. We can highly recommend a stay at Villa Milicic and would love to go back.

Spectacular location

This is a truly wonderful house in a spectacular location, with 360 degree views all around. The house is very clean and has everything you need, and the grounds are superb and very well kept. We went swimming every day, and the adults in our group enjoyed the hot tub under the stars every night. Mario and his mother were fantastic, warm hosts, and organised a brilliant boat trip from Dubrovnik for us. He also made some great local restaurant recommendations. This house was a fantastic find and we’re definitely keen to visit again.

Simply perfect 5* villa in beautiful Croatia

This is one of the best villas we have stayed in as a family. So well equipped with a tennis court, pool, table tennis, basketball, gym, sauna, hot tub and pool all set in amongst olive groves and vineyards. There really was something to keep every member of our family occupied. The villa itself is well equipment and everything has been carefully thought out with fabulous outside space. Mario and his family made us feel so welcome throughout out stay. This area of Croatia is so stunning, hidden beaches, boat trips around the islands, amazing restaurants and wine and of course wonderful Dubrovnik. Definitely a five star stay location.

Stunning and magical -- you will be so glad you rented this villa

Reading the gushing 5-star reviews of this villa I was worried that it all sounded too good to be true. Well, hear this: it is all true and more. The photos don't even do it justice. It's hard to know where to start. The setting: stunning -- you're on a hill overlooking a grove of olive and fig trees, rolling hills and mountains dotted with cyprus trees and lush vegetation. It is absolutely breathtaking. The house is easy to get to and conveniently located for shopping, exploring, beach-going etc., yet very private and quiet. It was spotlessly clean (think 5-star hotel clean) with fresh white linens, incredibly comfortable beds and AC in the bedrooms and living room -- we all slept very well every night. The kitchen, though small, was well equipped and had everything you need to prepare meals -- every appliance and gadget, nice table wear and glassware etc. for both indoor and outdoor use. There is a good sized dining table inside and some living room seating, but you will likely spend most of your time outside where there is a lovely patio. The pool is steps away and very nice -- again, the photos don't really capture how magical it is to be floating around in midst of that landscape. We made daily use of the tennis court (after 5pm it was shaded and pleasantly cool, and there are lights for nightime use) -- it too is spectacularly set and well kept. Mario is a fantastic host. He made sure every detail was tended to, yet was very respectful of our privacy. The wine tasting/greeting is as fabulous as the other reviewers say. We also rented a small motorboat from his business in Cavtat, and he made it very easy (and affordable) and it was a great adventure. This was our first time in Croatia and we appreciated being in the Konavle valley, away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik (yet close enough for easy access if you want it). The airport is only 15 minutes away and easy to get to, which made it easy to coordinate different arrival and departure times. We are so glad that we chose this rental and recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a truly magical holiday.

Best Villa Ever

We stayed in the villa during Covid 19 and it seemed like an escape from reality back in the UK. The facilities at the villa were superb, 360 degree views spectacular and the advice and help given by Mario and his family were second to none. We had an amazing time in this beautiful part of Croatia and would highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants to get away from it all whilst enjoying superb facilities and only 20 minutes drive to the beautiful town of Cavtat with its marina and gorgeous bay. Thanks so much to Mario and his parents for their warmth and hospitality.

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und drei Kindern (2-8 Jahre) in diesem Haus. Die Lage ist wunderschön. Der Empfang durch Mario und seine Eltern war sehr herzlich. Sie standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die Ausstattung des Hauses war super, alles da, was man braucht. Am liebsten wären wir noch länger geblieben. Aber wir kommen wieder.

Perfect getaway

The property was fantastic, Mario and his parents are the perfect hosts and the most generous of people and very welcoming. A hired car is essential to see this beautiful country but this was not expensive to do. If you want to chill out and have a relaxing vacation then this villa is definitely the place to stay.

Welcoming owners, beautiful scenery.

As I write this review I'm sipping a glass of the owner's delicious red wine which we took home to remind us of our stay in this wonderful property. The natural beauty of the location is stunning. The villa is spotless and well equipped. But most of all the welcome is fabulous.... wine tasting and complimentary food from Mario on arrival followed up by many opportunities to sit, chat and sip wine with his parents throughout the holiday (if you so choose). Lovely people. The local village is equally as welcoming, in particular the restaurant Konoba Koraceva Kuca, whose staff ran us home one evening so that we didn't need to drive. Just lovely!

A quiet property with mountain views

We had a lovely time in Croatia. The weather was unseasonably wet, but we had a good time non the less. We were greeted by Mario at the local supermarket, and he showed us how to get to the villa. We were treated like family and were treated to wine and charcuterie with his parents. This villa has wonderful facilities and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to families.

Sehr schönes Haus mit brillantem Ausblick

Der Empfang am Arbeitstag erfolgte sehr herzlich durch Mario und seine Eltern mit kroatischen Spezialitäten und mit Wein aus eigener Herstellung. Das Haus und die Lage waren sehr überwältigend. Sehr gepflegtes großes Grundstück mit vielen Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten. Bei Fragen, Problemen und Organisationen waren Mario und seine Eltern sehr hilfsbereit. Alles in Allem ein lohnenswerter Urlaub mit super Unterkunft und super Hosts

Just fantastic

From the time we were met en route and guided into the property, to when we bid farewell to our delightful hosts, we had the most amazing stay. The villa is in such a stunning location with far reaching beautiful views. It has wonderful facilities especially for outdoor living, with a choice of dining areas and a substantial built-in BBQ. The pool area and tennis court are excellent as is the wine made by the hosts in their adjacent vineyards and offered for tasting very generously. The family could not do enough for us and their recommendations for local dining and places to visit are well worth following. Thank you Mario, Pero and Kata
