A little price of heaven the house was amazing and the pool and garden gorgeous. It was a brilliant location just a minute to the gates if the Old Town. Added bonus was the sauna and Ivan was so helpful too organising a boat trip for us. All in all highly recommend staying in this beautiful villa.

Perfect Spot for a Perfect Vacation

Loved, loved, loved Villa Revelin. It was located in the perfect location so close to Old Town yet it was quiet and comfortable! The Villa had everything: attentive concierge, well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, work out room, pool and four spacious and beautiful ensuite bedrooms. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to Dubrovnik.

great trip

Traveled with 7 people - 3 couples plus 1. Plenty of room. We made dinner most nights in Kitchen. Host arranged for chef to bring breakfast every other day. Great location, walk to town and multiple beaches. Host helped arranged 3 different excursions. Covered outside patio for meals and beautiful pool with great views.

Fantastic property, great location

The property was beautiful, clean and very close to old town. Communication with Hamdy (pre-arrival) was great. The day before arrival I started getting messages from Ivan, instead of Hamdy, with no warning. I quickly found that Ivan was not aware that we had arranged a chef for one evening at the house. Ivan then had a chef contact me, who said he was booked but would try to assist. After 8 messages back and forth with the booked chef and Ivan, we ended up canceling as it was beginning to be too much work for something I thought had been arranged weeks in advance. Checkout was smooth, but once again, poor communication with Ivan. I was messaging with him the morning of checkout to see if we could leave our bags on property for an extra hour. He graciously agreed, but then showed up at checkout and was surprised that we weren’t ready to fully leave. I had to show him our text exchange that took place 2 hours before. Overall, I would definitely stay again as the property and proximity to everything is great. Compared to other hosts on this trip, the communication with host needs improvement.

Summer Vacation

Memorable family vacation at this villa. Pool was spectacular with views of Old Town wall and sea. Accommodations were consistent with description. Any thng we needed was within walking distance. Hamdy and Paula took care of every request promptly. Highly recommend. Thank you Dinka for taking such good care of the house while we were residents!

Lovely property but let down by poor amenities

The Villa is in a great location and very convenient for the old town and banji beach. The property has a beautiful character and is nicely decorated. Unfortunately we had several issues , on the first day there was a leak in the utility room and we had to call out management, on the second day the hot water system failed so we had no hot water for 2 days. The Villa is clearly marketed for up to 8 people but it only has 6 sun beds , we asked the manager if he would be able to provide additional sun beds but the owner was unwilling to accommodate. Additionally the mattress in the master bedroom is extremely hard and uncomfortable, whilst the other rooms had mattress toppers , this room does not. The owner was not prepared to address this. There is a general lack of kitchenware . Overall these basic shortcomings , which could be easily addressed , are frustrating and let the property down.

Close to old city

We wanted to be able to walk everywhere and this house is a crazy 2 minute walk to be inside the old walled city. Yes there’s a bit of noise in the evenings but that’s a tiny price to pay for the location and it’s advantages

Everything you could desire

Perfect location right at the Revelin Gste to the Old City. It had everything: pool, sauna, workout room, jacuzzi and huge bedrooms and kitchen. Paula met us to check us in and when we left to carry our bags, and was available over text to book tours and answer questions. Definitely stay here!

Short and beautiful stay

We came for a one day for a business meeting with our partners and we stayed in this beautiful villa. fully equipped villa on best and closest location to centre, just few steps away from old town and restaurants. I can not imagine how beautiful this villa is during summer time with this view and pool and amazing terrace. Highly recommend this villa. Concierge service was very helpful also. Thank you.

Fabulous

What a beautiful villa! Perfect location & just a quick walk to reach the Old Town. The garden was a peaceful & relaxing space, despite the proximity of the hustle & bustle of tourists. In fact the outside space was very generous. The interior of the villa is stunning & very tastefully decorated & all the bedrooms were a great size. Hamdy arranged a boat trip for us which I can highly recommend & made suggestions for dinner, which were easily booked online. 360 is a fabulous location for a special evening & the food at Above 5 is fantastic, although be prepared for the walk up five flights of stairs as the name suggests!!! My only faults with the villa were that the kitchen requires a bit of maintenance, the treadmill wasn’t working, which my daughters wanted to use & some of the lights weren’t working & couldn’t be fixed whilst we were there. But these did not detract from a thoroughly relaxing time spent in a wonderful city in a fabulous villa.

It was Fabulous

We had an incredible time here. There was enough space where my group of friends and I all had privacy when we wanted it, but we did never felt isolated. Whenever there was any issue, of which there were few, someone was there immediately to solve our problems. Hamdy and his team were amazing and instrumental in making our vacation full of fun, memorable experiences, both in and outside the villa. A+ For the facilities, A+ for the service, and A+ for the hassle-free vacation.

Stunning villa with good staff but with problems

This property could have been great but there were so many problems. I spent almost every day having to call the maintenance, not what you want for a relaxing holiday and not what you expect at $10,000 per week that we paid. There was a drain smell (apparently caused by excess rain) which was awful in one of the bedrooms and lounge area which was not rectified despite asking 3 timeS...our guests for that room had to move into a hotel for the last 3 nights because they couldn’t bare the smell. There was no hot water on one day (apparently caused by no sun on solar panels), the running machine and hot tub needed to be fixed which we wanted to use, being locked out and having to climb the garden wall to get in so had to get Maitenance out again. Bath and sink in main bathroom were faulty so we could not fill the bath. In isolation one thing would have been acceptable but I was constantly having to call which made for a disappointing stay plus I felt that this was unfair on the people managing the property having to attend to us each day. The saving grace of the holiday was Hamdy and his team were so very helpful from before we arrived with organising trips, with reputable companies, restaurants as well as responding to our problems immediately without delay. He also arranged to pay for dinner for us on one eve at a local restaurant. We did appreciate this as a gesture but would rather have had a relaxing, problem free much needed break and we are writing this to make sure that the property is attended to for future guests so that they can enjoy their holiday. This could be an amazing property in a fab location but does not currently warrant the huge price tag. Dubrovnik is a great city and I recommend Adventure Dalmatia for any trips, as recommended by Hamdy. Ivan’s team there go the extra mile from retrieving left items to making the trips extra special. As I said you can not fault Hamdy and his team but please make sure that these things are addressed before your next full paying guests arrive. The difficult weather did mean that we used the villa more than we may have done had it been sunny but it should be available for every eventuality. We use home away all of the time and have always done good reviews.

What an amazing property!

We had a fabulous family trip to Dubrovnik where we stayed at Villa Revelin. It was such a beautiful, well appointed property in a perfect location! We hated to leave. We could walk everywhere and Hamdy and Dinka arranged all our reservations and transfers. We especially enjoyed the pool and outdoor sitting areas - wonderful for relaxing! The views of the wall and harbor were spectacular. Loved every minute!
