We had a great two night stay at Abel Tasman Motor Inn. Booked a 2 room unit and stayed with our 4 kids who loved having their own seperate room with their own TV! Staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and spacious, well stocked kitchen facilities and bathroom (enough soap and shampoo for all 6 of us which meant no fighting over who got to wash their hair when!), huge bathroom, room was serviced daily which is better service than we've had in 4 star hotels lately. We were in Dubbo to go to Western Plains Zoo which was a 3 minute drive down the road. Close to Woolies and the Ninja Warrior park across the road was a huge hit with the kids. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back! Thanks Abel Tasman

Aircon didn’t work, milk was off, mould and cobwebs on bathroom ceiling, room service was a bit hit and miss. Stayed 3 nights. At approx $200 per night you’d Exocet a little better.

Hi Gary, Thanks for your honesty with your review of your stay with us. My apologies to you for not having the room and our service to the standard you expected. We make every effort to ensure our guests expect the standard of a 4 star motel. We have fallen short in your case. With regards to the air con, which does work, it appears you overlooked the switch next to the entry light switch to the room. Reception very poor. Complained we had used a booking company and that they would have charged me less. Redused use of NSW travel vouchers as they will struggle to het there money.

No room available charged
Owner advertised as wheelchair accessible. Booked and was called to say rooms are upstairs. Refused refund and given a load of abuse about hotels com ripping him off.

When I booked the room 2 months ago, I requested and was granted a downstairs room (2 hip replacements). We were checked into an upstairs room however. Disappointing. The temporary manager very kindly changed this, even though the place was full. Vey impressive. Also, the carpets need replacing and the shower needs regrouting. Other than that, pretty good.

Thank you for your comments. All carpets are currently being upgraded. As you booked through Expedia all rooms allocated to them are upstairs. Easy check-in with Mike, parking suitable for our vehicle with camper trailer, great sized room and amenities for a family of 4, good close dinner options for a quick overnight stay.

We stay here every year on our way home from QLD and book a family room. Always clean and friendly staff . Great location as we can walk over to Club Dubbo for Dinner

Had a lovely stay, beds were comfy and linen was nice. Only thing I would say is the carpets were very filthy, would recommend you to get them professionally cleaned them as that our feet were black and had to wear shoes inside. I also suggest that you service your fridges as that they froze everything, even when we tried to adjust the fridge accordingly.

The carpet in our room was very dirty. Our feet were black after shortly taking off our shoes. We had to walk around in shoes as if we were camping. Staff were negative at our checkin telling us we wouldn’t be able to make it interstate and it wasn't worth trying. We got across in Queensland fine.

James Thank you for your incites. in regard to the carpet, we find it hard to believe this was the case but have taken it on board. In regard to the negative attitude , i certainly dispute your statements as it is not the kind of statement i would make in this situation. Discussion on covid , yes discussion on government rulings, yes Statements on the economy, yes Your decision to travel to Qld, no I can only assume i misjudged your mood and humour. i promise less discussion if you choose to return.

I believe you have mistaken us for another motel. Anonymous comments help no one as the room cannot be identified and the guest had made no comment directly to any staff.

Liked size of room and hot water system in shower. Disliked the amount of noise coming from the highway. This room would be one of the most affected.

Everything was great except there was a smoker in the room next door and an ashtray in the corridor. I would stay here again but think the motel should ban smoking.

Stayed for 4 nights with a family of four. Big rooms, comfortable beds in a great location. We would certainly stay here again on a trip to Dubbo.
