Gorgeous views & amazing stay.

This place was not only beautiful but it was thoroughly clean. I mean really, really clean. Even the porch was spottless and the chair cushions were super clean & comfortable. The fire circle Adirondack chairs looked brand new. The hosts are so kind and take their word, the sunset is absolutely breathtaking from that spot. The little touches they add just make it even more enjoyable. The snacks, the wine, the bath bomb, my goodness. I definitely felt pampered. We will be staying here again.

Excellent vacation home

We recently stayed at this house on the top of hill. It is exactly what I expect for a relaxing escape. The scenery is so beautiful, sunset, stargazing, pool on the hill and morning hiking. The host Cindy and Troy are very nice people. And I really like the internal design by Cindy.

New Year

Our stay was amazing! Everything was perfect. Cindy and Troy are wonderful hosts and, oh, the views are panoramic, and absolutely breathtaking. We could not have asked for a better experience. If you lead a busy life and crave a peaceful, serene, experience for some needed rest and relaxation in a home away from home environment, this is it.

Listing and expectations were met when we arrived at the property. Amazing place to relax and enjoy.

We went to Dripping Springs for a wedding and found this gem of a place to stay at. We really enjoyed the amazing house and pool with stunning views. Will definitely visit again.

Cute house in a spectacular location

I took a solo getaway and this place was perfect. The location is simply stunning - I couldn’t get enough of the views. The house is very clean and well stocked. The only negative was that the people who rented the space above sounded like elephants while walking around. If you’re light sleepers, maybe consider renting the upstairs unit insyead But other than that, I loved this place! I’d highly recommend it.

Million Dollar View

Wonderful location and perfect unit for a romantic getaway. Beautiful property with a dazzling view of the Texas Hill Country. Cindy was very responsive to anything we needed and had everything we could possibly need for a great escape. Thank you for a great weekend and your attention to detail was a blessing. Perfect base for exploring the hill country

We stayed in the ground floor unit and it was perfect for our stay in the hill country. 15 minutes from Downtown dripping and just off the 290 highway if you want to get to other parts of the area easily. The setting is idyllic and the balcony view is amazing. Apartment was spotless, had great amenities (everything you can think of and more) and very spacious. Really appreciated the honey made onsite. Will be back.

Quiet and great views

Was in Drippings Springs fora wedding at Camp Lucy. Very convenient and close. Beautiful hilltop views. Good hard top road. Quiet even with other guests above. Beautifully appointed with everything you need even with fresh fruit and waters and snacks. Was appreciative of the clothes detergent as we forgot ours. Roomy place and very comfortable. Smelled nice and was very clean. Had use of the carport.

Immaculate cottage with stunning views and heavenly peace and quiet. Great fire pit and pool area. Cindy was a wonderful host with great suggestions for local sightseeing and dining. We will definitely stay at Terra Vista/Sunrise Villas again.

Magical weekend

My husband and I spent the weekend at Terra Vista and we were astounded by the views. The whole experience was lovely. The host was on the property nearby but gave us plenty of privacy and it was no problem having an upstairs neighbor. The space was immaculate and they thought of all the little details. We hiked at Pedernales State Park and Hamilton Pool Preserve, both of which were beautiful. We swam in the pool, grilled steaks , watched the sunset and slept so well in the comfortable bed. I’m already dreaming of returning. Worth every penny.

Just the perfect getaway

The accommodations were excellent, the views were incredible and it was so peaceful we didn't want to leave! It was like having a home away from home in the midst of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. It is not far from Fredericksburg and Austin, but is secluded enough so that you have complete privacy. We can't wait go to back! Worth every penny. The owners are very nice and even left us a basket of goodies for snacks.

A little piece of heaven

The Payne's call their place their little piece of heaven. This is no exaggeration! The hilltop view offered just the serenity my husband and I were looking for. An unexpected pleasure was the pure silence of the outdoors – no sounds of traffic, only the breeze and the birds. The night sky was noticeably clearer than our light-polluted sky back home. We even saw a meteor! Cindy greeted us upon our arrival to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction and made us feel like family. She gave us great advice for finding our own place (one of the purposes of our trip). I can’t wait to go back!

Peaceful, Secluded Weekend Retreat

Our weekend rental was everything that we imagined and more! Located on a hilltop, overlooking the Texas Hill Country, this newly built property was spacious and very well equipped. Our host, Cindy, went out of her way to insure that we had everything that we needed to be comfortable. I am a neat freak and I must say that this was by far the cleanest rental that we have ever visited! The bed was very comfortable and the view was breathtaking! I would highly recommend this property!!
