Beautiful property, lovely pool

This house was perfect for my family and my sister in laws family. We really enjoyed our time in the pool, making smores by the fire and watching the deer in the front yard every morning & evening! We will come back!

Great family stay

We stayed at Renee’s property for a nearby wedding. Four adults and three kids comfortably lived here for 5 nights - Renee was wonderfully communicative. Kids loved the hot tub and pool which we used every single day. Renee was great and made sure to childproof the doors leading out to the pool. This is a beautiful spot and perfect for a pandemic getaway, but still close enough to amenities if you wanted to venture into town. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was well stocked to make this happen. Kids also loved exploring the grounds which are safe and clear of things like fire ants and poison ivy which we truly appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Kids are already sad that we are leaving!

Great standalone home and location to break away from the city and experience good peace and quiet. Country scenery is beautiful. So many wineries, distilleries and breweries to choose from when they all open up again.

We enjoyed staying at this home away from home. The house was what we expected, some of the house hold items in the kitchen need to be updated. But the atmosphere was worth it all it was so nice and peaceful outside. Family members were able to see wildlife out on the property. We had a good time and we might visit back again.

Perfect place to stay near Camp Lucy

We stayed her for our daughter's wedding at Camp Lucy. Just a few miles away it is very private and comfortable. Great spot to sit outside and nearly always a breeze. Close to Hwy 290 for all the errands we had to run but surrounded by trees and even saw lightning bugs!

The house was easy to get to. Close to venue and town. Cute decorated. Comfortable bed. Outside was great especially the swings because my granddaughters love to swing.. Would recommend the house. Oh the wedding was beautiful.

The house was great. You could use a bigger or another water heater. But besides that it was perfect. We had a family wedding so didn’t cook or hang out much there would love to have a chance to enjoy the outdoors and fire pits Also, your quick response to questions and minor problem with heater was appreciated

Perfect Weekend Getaway Home

Our family of 10 stayed in this beautiful farmhouse for the weekend. We loved the property and there was plenty of room for everyone. Loved the extra touch of having lights on and music playing on our arrival- made it cozy and welcoming! My daughter left a necklace and the owner called right away and sent the necklace to us. Thanks for everything and if in the area again, we would for sure rent this home.

We attended a wedding at Cricket Hill Ranch which was just about a mile away. Our extended family was able to stay with us and we so enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. There were even homemade cookies waiting for us when we arrived!

Pros: Bedrooms, baths & common areas were all clean and represented well on the website. Outdoor sitting area—with lights!—was lovely. Easy to locate. Property has beautiful entrance w fields (of flowers when we visited) on either side. Cons: (first two noted by owner—but be aware of them) No WiFi. No washer & dryer. House is 2-3 houses away from a large baseball park—with lots of hi-lights and traffic this time of year. You can hear them when sitting outside. Not horrible but worth noting if you’re looking for quiet/solitude. This house met our needs. Having stayed in Home Away properties in the US, Canada and Mexico, I felt this one was furnished with “basics”.

A perfect getaway week end!

We had a wonderful time in Renee's house ! It is calm and comfy and close to some great wineries and state parks. Renee is a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive. We will definitely come back!
