  • This contemporary property offers a romantic hideaway in a peaceful location. It is all on the ground floor, with a wood burner and picturesque views. Perfect to see what Yorkshire has to offer.. All on the Ground Floor:

    Open plan living space.

    Living area: 32" Freeview TV, DVD Player, Ipod Dock, CD Player, Woodburner

    Dining area.

    Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer

    Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, 19" Freeview TV

    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner provided. . Patio with garden furniture. Bike store. Parking for one car. Sorry, no children under two years old. Please note: There is a fenced pond in the grounds.. Russet is a romantic hideaway enjoying a private and peaceful location within a sheep grazed orchard and sharing its surroundings with another holiday property, Greengage (E4424). The accommodation is all on one level, has an open plan layout and includes a wood burner in the lounge and picturesque views from its patio. Skipsea’s sandy beach, two pubs, a restaurant and shops are just under a mile, and the local leisure park’s gym and indoor swimming pool are two miles.



    Further up the coast there are the traditional seaside resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough. Bempton Cliffs bird reserve is well worth a visit where you will see puffins, guillemots and seals in their natural habitat. It’s a perfect base to see what Yorkshire has to offer from the North York Moors to the east coast and The Wolds there’s so much to see and do. York, Scarborough and Pickering are about an hour’s drive. Sledmere House is just one of many stately homes you can visit as well as Sewerby Hall and Burton Agnes Hall, all close by. For evening entertainment there’s plenty in Bridlington with The Spa hosting International shows all year round.

    Russet can be booked together with Greengage (E4424) to accommodate up to four guests.

Excellent Covid measures in place. Superb spacious bungalow, the owners have thought of everything you could need. Generous And unexpected welcome pack. Very private with no property overlooking Russet. Well located for the east coast towns and villages. We were fortunate to have a couple of nights of clear skies and there is no light pollution there, magical. Thoroughly recommend for a restful and relaxing break. We had a very enjoyable week in Russett holiday bungalow and the welcome supplies were extremely helpful. It was nice to see the sheep wandering around too. Fish and chips in Beeford were really good too! Beware they close at 7.00 pm which is a shame.

Like other reviews...home away from home... Me and my fiancee have chosen this location to escape from busy, crowded and noisy London. Property is spacious, clean, well equipped and definitely owners have spend their time in creating nice atmosphere by paying attention to every little detail. It could not have been any better. Perfectly situated to go and explore amazing Bempton Cliffs as well as North Riding Forest Park and North York Moors National Park. Thanks for having us!
