Pros: - AMAZING DECK. 12/10! - steps straight down to beautiful beach- center of village so easy to walk everywhere you need.- outdoor showers were super convenient and nice There was a significant issue our week - the regional government decided to rip up the roadways to redo the water pipes which meant (a) had to wait to even get to the property, (b) car was trapped once parked in driveway, as massive trench edged the road (hosts had to pay for someone to fill in just our section so we could actually leave at week's end), (c) lots & lots of extra noise & dust, (d) water off a lot more than is normal. I still wanted to give *the property* itself a 5/5 because of the Pros above & a normal week, but here are the Cons that dropped it to 4/5:- really little soundproofing, both between the floors (I could hear every step my kids took upstairs), & through the windows (single pane?). This was an issue even aside from the construction because the main road is 10 feet from the bedrooms & motorcycles and trucks zoom past at like 5am, & until 1am (totally reasonable given it's the main road, but also pretty noisy when trying to sleep!) So, I recommend to *bring earplugs*. - a little grubby around the edges; the fridge was a 4/5 of cleanliness when we arrived, etc. - Ground floor bedroom as 2 twins, or a bunk, would be much better; our kids can't share a bed peacefully so we had to put them upstairs, but that had the fabulous views that I'd have loved to take!
