"Funky and very rural setting outside of your typical redneck / hippie Oregon town. Lots of big trucks & trailers — and three bookstores and several good restaurants in the cute historic downtown of Cottage Grove. The yurt was very comfortable, just keep in mind you are in a farm. "

"We had driven down 101 to see the ocean and waterfalls and spent the night in Cottage Grove on the way to our son’s place in Eugene. We enjoyed the VRBO, but were disappointed that downtown was going through major construction. Temporary though. "

"Stayed at this property for our duck’s graduation from the University of Oregon. We had a total of five adults and it fit the bill perfectly. While it’s a bit of a drive to Eugene, everyone really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the environment. The house was very spacious and super clean. "First, I wanna say that William is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. The place is exactly as advertised with no deficiencies. Everything worked. Nothing messed up. "We planned a trip to Cottage Grove to do some cycling with friends. We did a total of 3 rides, one starting in Cottage Grove on a route to see the covered bridges. It was awesome.The home is situated across a road from Cottage Grove Lake. "The property setting is absolutely gorgeous and serene. It is 16 minutes to downtown Roseburg with easy freeway access. The home is spacious and beautifully appointed. We had three families meet up for a wedding, and there was amble room to retire or to gather together. Expansive back decks with well maintained hot tub was the cout de taut!"
