Great Location to Explore State Parks

The Tree House was very clean and comfortable. The location was ideal for our plans of hiking nearby State Parks. Rock Island is beautiful!! We were thankful we could take our dog with us on this great trip.

Magical!

We loved our stay at the Treehouse! This place is truly one of a kind. We loved the artsy, funky vibe, the deck looking out onto the trees, and the huge tub! And the wall of windows is spectacular! It's a great jumping off point for Rock Island state park or other nearby hikes. We also had a great breakfast at the Doyle Cafe, which is just a quick walk from the property. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about this treehouse. It’s cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a couples’ escape. The bed with its colorful sheets and cute pillows felt so warm and inviting. The net outside was such a fun spot to relax and just enjoy the view. The hot tub under the stars was the best part, it made the whole stay feel extra special. You can tell a lot of care went into every detail. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely come back again.

Exploring Area and Waterfalls

An awesome eclectic "cabin"! Had some storms roll thru and the power went off a few times but it was not a big deal. The hostesses (Rachel and Stephanie) were great and quick to respond when we had a question or needed anything. It was a great place to stay in order to access all the parks with waterfalls around that area! We would definitely go back and stay there again.

Rain on the Tin Roof

Don’t let the threat of rain keep you from booking this amazing space! We had the most wonderful time here. The pictures don’t do this treehouse justice. The space is funky and inviting while being so comfy and just perfect for a quiet getaway. The tub is perfect for soaking away the soreness from the hikes that are so incredibly close. Enjoy the time you get to spend in this serene location. Easily enjoyed from inside or one of the gorgeous outdoor spaces, don’t forget to wake up early to watch the deer frolic in the field!

WHAT A GEM!!!!!

Absolutely worth it. Rachel and Steph have super powers - they respond within minutes and answered all of our questions. The only surprise we got when we arrived was this tiny little, cutie. Very impressive!!They’ve put out a grill for us which was great. The place is well maintained and VERY clean.

I truly enjoyed everything about my stay here. It was so unique & so different from most rentals. The owners took a lot of time carefully decorating with such whimsical, fun pieces of furniture. I loved everything there from the gorgeous, clawfoot bathtub to the unique sinks, artwork & even the record player! I was able to dance around to Barbara Streisand, Madonna, & more. The Treehouse felt so welcoming & it was extremely clean. The owners were so helpful the whole time. I highly recommend the incredible treehouse & will definitely return!

This was the most fun and unique VRBO property we've ever stayed in. Everything was exactly as described in the listing and this place exceeded our expectations in every way. Perfect spot to stay to hit the local state parks for hiking and waterfall viewing. Also the perfect spot for a nice relaxing weekend. Would recommend this place to anyone. Just perfect in every way!
