Just stayed one night. We were going to tour UNH the next day and this was a quick drive over to campus. Clean room and met our needs. Small fitness facility and basic coffee and breakfast food in the morning. Good price point for what we needed

I have stayed a few times now. I visit my daughter at college. The hotel is quaint and convenient. The staff is always friendly but the cleaning service basically doesn't clean. Every time I stay there is sticky stuff on the dresser/counter tops and so much dust on the alarm clock I don't think it has been touched since they opened. Still a convenient place just wish the cleaning staff cared a bit more. Thanks

Well was disappointed that the pool was closed . We was going to a wedding and my daughter drove all the way up with my grandson just to use pool. Was not told pool was closed till we checked in.

Horrible breakfast selection, price increased once I got to hotel, the tried pre charging me before I got there even though I checked pay upon arrival. Front desk was helpful, bed was comfortable, room was clean.

Happy we stayed there.
We were very happy with our rooms. They were roomy, clean and comfortable. Plenty of choices for a quick breakfast. We were greeted and checked in quickly. I would definitely stay there again.

We have always thought this hotel was great. This stay was different. The lighting in the room was horrible and very dim. The breakfast used to include hot eggs and sausage. This weekend they only had bagels/muffins/pancakes/cereal etc - not very low-carb friendly. Disappointing. No microwave in room either. You had to go to lobby to warm anything up.

One downfall is that my reservation got changed without noticed. I had chosen a room with 2 Queen beds. Upon my check-in, I got a “upgrade” to a King bed suite with a pullout sofa bed. The sofa bed was really uncomfortable for an adult. So they offered to bring a single size air marrées bed. The bed was deflating as we tried it to se the confort. The other option, was a queen mattress on the floor. At the end, the Queen mattress was fine. I cannot hide, the staff was nice & accommodating. They offered to adjust our nightly rate in consequence. After all, the for one night we stayed, it was good.

I stayed in a 1 room suite with a kitchenette with my boyfriend. The bed was huuge and so comfortable! Bathroom was clean, room was clean. The only problem i really had with my stay was the woman at the front desk did not ask a name for our reservation. She said we were the only people checking in that day so we figured we were fine. She took our card and we paid and then we realized we were charged for not my reservation. They charged our card for $500+ and ours was $200 ish. They immediately made everything right. They refunded the money back to my card which i got back 3 days later. They completely discounted my room. We got a steal afterwards.

Great Hotel
The hotel was wonderful! We arrived and the entire hotel was decorated for Halloween (inside and outside). Jamie checked us in and she was wonderful. We had an issue with our television and she came right to the room and fixed it right away. Everyone working at the hotel was super pleasant. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The property was super clean and the decorations for fall and Halloween made it so fun to walk around and check everything out! The two women at the front desk were extremely kind and even provided us with recommendations for dinner. The room was super spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be back next fall when we visit!

Overall great stay. Hotel is well maintained considering its a bit dated but still functional and a good place to overnight. Room was good for two and clean/comfortable. The bathroom was small, relatively clean/maintained and served its purpose. Easy access off the Spalding Turnpike from Portsmouth and into Dover. Fairly quiet although its older construction allowed some sound carry. Hotel seemed to attract more mature guests even on a weekend. Breakfast was great with the usual choices.

The front desk staff made a mistake in taking my payment for a 3 night stay and charged me $1714.00 for a 3 night stay. I asked them to reverse the double charge which was on a Friday. They said the charge would not be reversed until Wed. They also told me the manager was not there until Monday, and I would have to speak with her. I was checking out on Monday and I asked for the manager and all of a sudden she was not in that day. So basically they gave me the run around and did not release the double charge to my account for one week. I called Bank of America and they said the double charges were still processing so they could not dispute until the hotel actually charged this to my account. Needless to say, after one week the hotel finally released the hold on my money and the charge dropped off of my account. Meanwhile, they had been paid on Monday. Unbelievable!! Also, after a long day and coming back to the hotel my room had not been cleaned, and I was told, "you have to officially request housekeeping, otherwise your room will not be cleaned." The room itself was nothing special for $300/night. It was a standard, non-updated room with very cheap furniture. The refrigerator was very narrow and I couldn't fit leftover containers. There was no microwave in the room, literally no amenities. Iron didn't work, I mean I really could go on and on....but the hotel is a rip-off and the staff needs lessons in customer service.
