"came for another wonderful trip to Orkney. Accommodation was good with plenty of room. Felt it could benefit from a 2nd toilet/bathroom. the rooms were very spacious. more wardrobe /hanging space would be good in twin rooms. The dishwasher and washing machine were both very clean as were the bedding, which was on comfortable beds. We were very pleased with this choice and would be happy to stay here again. "As two seniors we found this ground floor flat convenient and stocked with everything we needed. It was very convenient for using public transport, just steps from bus station and info center. The host kindly left the lights on for our late arrival. Nothing fancy but a good solid base with good wifi, warm and comfy."

Then the harbour front is seconds away Make sure you go into the Albert street car park stay left and turn into, usually a space outside the apartment can park for free. "A lovely, quiet, peaceful spot. Easy access to Kirkwall and Stromness. Fully equipped kitchen, it was nice to cook and eat there rather than in restaurants or pubs. Hosts were great, highly recommended."

"This place was clean and comfortable with a nice breakfast. However, we booked it as a hotel with a bar and restaurant, which had ceased to operate by the time we got there. "The location is wonderful for ferry travelers--right on the harbor, and so near shops, bakeries, and points of interest! The hotel is old but beautifully cared for and quaint in style. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious for three guests. The staff was friendly and helpful. The car park is a little challenging to get to, but happily there is a helpful hand-drawn map on the front desk to assist visitors to find it! I highly recommend this hotel to visitors to Stromness and Orkeny...
