Lovely cottage in a quiet neighborhood (altho we were there during the week) walking distance to the beach! Screen porch, well stocked kitchen, cozy and shady as described.

Lovely old fashioned beach cottage. Exactly as described. Very clean. Great fir Two adults, or a family with young children. Maybe a bit tight for 4 adults. Easy walk to a nice community beach. Easy drive to some lovely restaurants. We loved the screened porch!

Lovely cottage so close to Lake Michigan

We felt privileged to stay in such a beautifully restored cottage in such a quiet neighborhood. It was a very peaceful retreat, and we would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful time staying at this super peaceful cabin. We loved how close it was to the beach, and how nice Douglas beach is. Cleanliness was top notch. Amazing way to end our summer!

Loved this quaint, comfortable cottage on a 4 day getaway. The view out the front picture window was a dream with unexpected snow and deer walking along the lane. Loved how protected and quiet area was. Took lots of long walks along Lakeshore drive. Comfy bed too!

Two adults and our dog all really enjoyed this home— quiet and so peaceful— deer viewing every morning from the porch was a special treat!

Adorable cottage in wonderful area

Greg provided top notch hospitality from the beginning. My and I loved the cottage and it was in such a beautiful area. Very easy to get to Douglas and Saugatuck.

Great location, perfect little cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay at Shady Pines! The rooms were just right for our family. The bathroom and kitchen were well stocked with everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the screen porch and watching the deer wander the neighborhood. The beach just a short walk away was the best spot to watch the sunset!

Love Lake Michigan

Terrific location in quiet wooded area and cottage exactly as presented. Kitchen is well supplied with anything you might need and play items for children is a bonus! Very short walk to Lake Michigan! Greg is an excellent host and responded to inquiries within minutes. We would stay here again!

Great cottage! Great location!

This cottage was so nice and in a great location in Douglas. It is a short walk to the beach, and a short drive to downtown Douglas and Saugatuck. The cottage is very well kept up and decorated very nicely! There is so much to do in the area and it is an art lovers delight! The owner is very nice and made our trip enjoyable! We highly recommend and look forward to coming back!
