Everything about our stay at this property was top notch. The host was easy to work with, communicated quickly and made everything from check-in to check-out easy.The property was very clean, had high end appliances, and plenty of everything you would expect to make the stay great. The description of the property was very accurate. Although the property was way bigger than my wife and I needed, it was a pleasure to stay here.

This is a very nice property in a great location. It is clean, nicely equipped with stunning views of Kalamazoo Lake. The nearby beaches on Lake Michigan are absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed visiting Saugatuck, Douglas and several nearby parks.

Lovely house on the water.

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was very nice. Could have really used a deep clean before we arrived. Dirty toaster, stains showing on the sheets and towels. The location was wonderful. So close to everything. I would stay there again but would want to be assured things were tip top. I sent a message to the host about the grill needing fuel and I did not hear back. I also messaged after the stay about our concerns and never got a response. Prior to our stay, however, the communication was good.

Perfect Family Get Away

This was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend with the family. Great lake views. Close to town. My kids enjoyed the board games and ping pong table. Added bonus - you could see the fireworks for Venetian Festival from the balcony!

Perfect Celebration

Our group had 7 adult women in it for a birthday getaway. I will say that we struggled finding Uber/Lyft rides during after hours of the InterUrban bus shuttle. Keep that in mind if your entire party would like to have a couple of drinks with dinner. The place was absolutely perfect! It would be so nice if the boat house room had a 1/2 bath! We didn’t utilize that space because it wasn’t as accessible to the rest of the house and the lack of bathroom. The only other problem we ran into was the listing said there was a blender. There is a Nutri-Bullet type blender but not a full capacity blender for doing frozen drinks. We also could not find a can opener. Small things that are easy to fix. Beds were comfy, towels were great, and house was very clean!!

Well equipped and spotlessly clean

This property was perfect for a family group of 9. Easy bike access to lots of places and quiet and beautiful for staying in. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was spotless.

Family Reunion

The property was spacious and lovely. Cleaners had left it with unacceptable condition in some areas. Hosts were very responsive to make it right. Not noted in description, the huge, beautiful bedroom off the garage has no bathroom or place to hang clothes. Makes night-time needs a bit of a hike!

Great location, Beautiful home!

We had a quick get away with family and friends, ages ranging from 16 - 80. This property is in Douglas, but only a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to downtown Saugutuck. It overlooks a lake, with a view of downtown Saugatuck on the other side. We had a fabulous time! The bedrooms are on three different floors, including one that is only accessible through the garage. It is very nicely decorated. The hosts were very accomodating.

Nice location!

We had a great trip to Douglas/Saugatuck. Location of the townhome was perfect. Some signs of wear and tear, but overall a nice, well-equipped, VRBO.

Beautiful and perfect location

The house was absolutely amazing. Such a perfect location to both Douglas and Saugatuck. Beautiful view of Kalamazoo River and sunset views from the balconies...so many balconies! No one wanted to leave.

Lovely getaway retreat

The property was very well kept and decorated, while nicely stocked with cookware and games. The hosts were friendly and responsive with questions before and upon arrival. We were nervous with little children on a floor by themselves in the bunk room. However, we all had a wonderful time.

Beautiful lake front home

Wonderful new home with modern amenities just a couple minutes drive from downtown Saugatuck. Amazing views, very clean, simple and sleek design is the perfect getaway for a couple or family. Ease of access and interaction with owner was fabulous. Highly recommend and look forward to return in future!

Weekend gathering with friends

Excellent property for hosting a weekend gathering with friends. Unit is newly constructed, clean and well-equipped for a small gang to have a great time in Saugatuck/Douglas area. Although there isn't direct access to Lake Kalamazoo, the views are excellent and the cottage is equipped with kayaks, beach towels, and bikes to ensure your group can take full advantage of the surrounding area.
