Summer Vacation

We had an amazing time at this perfect slice of heaven. The house was beautiful and well appointed, the pool was delightful, and the views of the ocean were incredible! We practically had the entire beach to ourselves. It was the perfect relaxing beach vacation.

Coconut Point

Wonderful home in the best location. The pool is a great touch for kids. Having a generator is a big plus but be mindful of the fuel gauge, we ran out and were without power for some hours. There's only one bedroom without its own mini split AC, so all of us were very comfortable at night sleeping besides one couple who were a bit hot even in November. Otherwise it was a wonderful home and John the housekeeper was nearby and helped us out. Love this group and island!

Beautiful property with beautiful ocean front views. The beach was rocky but delightful at low tide. The pool was an added bonus. The kitchen was equipped and the bedrooms were roomy and nice. We will definitely stay there again

Perfect getaway

This house is just as advertised. It is as beautiful in real life as the pictures. Double bay is very quiet we could go a whole day without seeing anyone else on the beach. There was good snorkelling right off the beach. Great location to get to the restaurants in governors harbour..about 25-3o minutes drive away and the midway supermarket about 15 minutes away had enough food for home lunches and snacks. This house was perfect for us, family with 18 and 15 year old. If you want a relaxing getaway from it all you won’t find better

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is perfect, but the beach is very rough with no sand, and the stairs are broken down to the beach and unsafe for kids. They will be fixed but check to be sure it's done if you have young kids. The internet and tv barely work!

Truly fantastic even through the storms!

What an amazing home and island! We enjoyed every minute, even though we experienced Tropical Storm Nicole while here. The storm took out the steps to the beach but it didn’t ruin our fun. Don’t put much stock in the gripe about rocks on the Beach—there are miles of gorgeous pink sand! Food is very expensive on the island (if you’re concerned about that) so we were glad we had planned a few meals and brought provisions from the States. Roads can be rough in places so watch carefully. House is clean and comfortable with the basic necessities in the kitchen covered. Good supply of towels and beach towels. Island residents are warm and friendly and really amazing people. Overall it was one phenomenal week!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing time. The weather, water couldn’t have been anymore perfect. Out house at Coconut Point was beautiful and perfect for what we needed. A few cosmetic details could be used, but that is minor. The master bedroom was hot, but I’m sure that is because it gets all sun. We chatted a boat from Sea Adventures to take us to swim with the pigs, feed sea turtles, snorkeling, lobstering, and swings. Captain Smiley and Smurf were fewer to work with and very accommodating. We ran into a few bumps (no pun intended), but our over all experience was fantastic. I would say definitely do some homework on car rentals.

Paradise

The house was exactly as depicted and the view and access to the beach were breathtaking. We got out and explored a bit but agreed that our beach was the best. We brought water shoes for the beach but only needed them at high tide to walk a few yards to the right of the beach house. At low tide this is done quite easily. Decent snorkeling off the beach. We only saw one other family and it was Spring Break! The minor inconveniences of being on a less developed island were worth the price for this serenity and beauty. The homeowners and the rental agency responded so quickly via email to any questions while on the island. Tips-definitely rent an SUV ideally with 4-wheel drive as some of the roads, especially the last stretch to house, are quite bumpy. Given high prices of food (everything is 2x as expensive), it pays to check an extra suitcase of food, even if just dry goods. Enjoy, you won’t regret it!

Beautiful property. Spacious home gorgeous views. The beach is perfect. . Only thing I would recommend is cleaning the house a smidge better. It could use a good spring cleaning and clean up all the rusted chairs and junk out by pool. There is no gas grill. An electric one that is rusted

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled with two families, 4 adults and 3 kids. The layout of the house was perfect and we never felt cramped. The property is stunning and we enjoyed having easy beach access everyday. At low tide, the kids were able to safely explore tide pools and they really appreciated the beach toys.We loved our central location: 20 minutes to Governor's Harbor, 30 minutes to Tarpum Bay, and only 10 minutes to Ten Bay Beach.We had a minor medical emergency and the caretaker was quick to respond and made a call to get one of our kids into the local clinic after hours on a Saturday night. Everyone we met on the island was so helpful and kind.The house was well stocked and we appreciated the little details like extra sunscreen, bug spray, and coolers. The minor only thing I think we could have benefited from was to have a drying rack or laundry line for swimsuits and towels. But honestly, this house was perfect for our big adventure. Thanks for a great stay!

Coconut Point was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Gorgeous views, and an amazing place to make memories with friends. The games provided were very much appreciated. We won’t ever forget it!

The home was very nice and clean and had everything we needed. This is a great place to relax and unwind. Took a little getting used to the roads but there are so many things to explore on the Island. Our favorite spot was Lighthouse beach and favorite restaurant defiantly Tippy's.

I wish that was disclosed prior to us booking. The house was close enough for us to go to other beaches on the Caribbean side. We seriously loved the house. The bed was so comfy (always something I like to share), there was everything in the house you could possibly need down to Tupperware!!! The location was great as well. We just wished we have known about the rocks beforehand.

The house is large and set on a point with commanding 180 degree views of the Atlantic. It was very clean with tile throughout. There is a brand new deck and stairs to the beach. The doors on the ocean side do need some TLC but everything else worked great which is rare on this island. The king size bed was excellent. Our whole family enjoyed our stay and would rent it again.

FANTASTIC

This property has a stunning view! It was large enough for 4 people without feeling crowded. Road is a rocky with some potholes, but that is the same over most of Eleuthera. Close by to Governor's Harbor, and Farm Stands, gas station, and small grocery stores. Caretaker was very helpful, as well as Eleuthera Vacation Rentals. WiFi was excellent.
