Cozy thatched cottage between the Baltic Sea and Schlei with a large garden

The vacation rental in our thatched cottage, located between the Baltic Sea and the Schlei, is picturesquely situated
outside the small town of Karby in the Schwansener See Nature Reserve, secluded from
the tourist hustle and bustle and vacation resorts. The beaches in Schönhagen and Schubystrand are just a 20-
-minute bike ride away and, thanks to their gently sloping entry into the water, are ideal for families and
beachcombers.

The spacious vacation apartment features an open-concept living-kitchen area, two bathrooms
, and a very small bedroom on the first floor. The converted attic houses two larger bedrooms connected by a
loft, as well as a guest restroom. The apartment is furnished with a
cozy mix of antique and modern wooden furniture.

Our family retreat, Rapps Kate, has been around for over 40 years. This little gem has grown with us and our children, just like the trees in the garden. We hope you’ll feel just as comfortable and at home here as we do.
