November Get a way

My husband and I were visiting relatives and deer hunting on the family farm. We stayed 6 nights. The view was spectacular and right on Current river. Beautiful living room and kitchen. The Host was very responsive. Upon checking in there was no remote for bedroom TV. The host immediately responded with a remote within a couple of hours! The house is At the end of a gravel road and very private. Perfect for us!

Beautiful setting on Current River, plenty of room, no significant stairs to deal with if you are compromised, someone was available to assist with connecting to Wifi and television issues.

The property was tucked away at the end of a country road, right on the river. The inside was serviceable but in need of some love. There were cob webs on the ceiling with gnats stuck in them. The top of the master bathroom shower door frame is not attached to anything. The bunk room didn’t have any type of railing to keep children from falling out of bed and it was dirty and stank. We left that door open while our children used the bottom bunk and moved the top bunk mattress to the floor. It work well for our group of 7. Plenty of things to cook with. Plenty of blankets and towels. Just an older property and while we were there in the beginning of August, 2023, it had a for sale sign up. Don’t see this property being on VRBO for long.

Best vacation spot!

Absolutely the best place to stay on the Current. Nice and peaceful with a great place to get in the river and swim or launch the kayaks. House was so clean and well kept. The views were beyond belief from the deck. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing

The location is at the end of the road, so the only traffic is an occasional boat. Being at the river is just relaxing. The bed and couches were also lovely. Wish I could have spent more time in the house and with family at the property. Maybe next trip. And the owner was absolutely amazing at answering my questions and responding very quickly!! Thank You
