Utterly awful place- not at all like the description
4 nights with young children, with the last night being Xmas Eve, Firstly no one responded to our questions pre check in. I had to call on the morning of Check in to get the address and ask about check in. This was sent 3hours before check in, the location is the middle of a rough estate in Bentley, not Arksey as the description.
We checked in and we then proceeded to make dinner. All the dishes were not really clean, so we washed up. But this used all the tiny amount of washing up liquid we had been left. The sole tea towel stank. The coffee in the container was mouldy (we had thankfully brought our own), we fixed the fridge which was buzzing really loudly because it wasn’t flat. The bathroom is downstairs (stairs are super steep and it’s not A good set up
For Young kids at night) and the toilet kept filling up as the cistern is broken, thankfully we had no need for the sofa bed- otherwise no one was sleeping! The place was superficially clean, but there were stains on a dirt on all the walls and behind the microwave and
Cooker and floor, and cobwebs everywhere.
The WiFi codes provided didn’t work, we messaged directly & via Vrbo and got
No response.
The beds were clean & rooms
Fine So We spent the day out and brought the children back for The second night.
The next morning we went outside to find Rubbish bags by the door cigarette and joint ends in the yard. It felt grubby & unsafeWe checked out 2 nights early. We complained but no Response until after checking out.
