A nice cosy little cottage perfectly placed for walking or travelling by bus or train.
A nice cosy little cottage perfectly placed for walking or travelling by bus or train.
Set just outside a quiet village it is five minutes walk from a well stocked little supermarket and maybe a minute further to a pub.
The cottage was nice and clean, well equipped and warm.
There was a nice little terraced garden just outside the front door, perfectly place dto catch the morning sun at breakfast time.
We had absolutely no problem with it, but the steep stairs and access from the kitchen to the stairs maybe be difficult to negotiate for anyone with problems moving around.
All in all, a lovely cosy place to stay.

We had a lovely one week stay at Bron Elan. The cottage was very clean and well equipped.
It was cosy for four of us and having the fire lit when it was cold and rainy outside was lovely. It was our first visit to North Wales and we will definitely be back.

Holiday at 3 Bron Elan, Dolwydellan
This is a very nice cosy cottage with comfy beds. It’s situated in a lovely part of Dolwydellan. The stay was enjoyable. The only let down was the garden table, which was in a bad state. If I’d been able to sit out in the sun it would have enhanced my experience of this cottage

It was a good price, which we needed at the time and it was 'ok' all round.
It was a good price, which we needed at the time and it was 'ok' all round. I loved the rural location and proper Welsh look to the cottage but it was let down by being less clean than it could have been. For example, the runners for the oven shelves were slippery with thick grease and there were cobwebs in several places in the beams of the ceiling which would have been easy to remove with the vacuum cleaner. The shower could do with more power too as it took a long time to rinse my long hair. So all in all, pros and cons if I was on a tight budget again, I would go back - I know you get what you pay for.

We loved our stay in the cottage.
We loved our stay in the cottage. It's really well equipped, small but extremely cosy and well organised. It's about small things that matter, like a first aid box in the kitchen cupboard or beautiful pictures on the walls. The owner has taken care of every little detail. I cannot praise it enough, it was perfect for the four of us, with everything that we needed during our seven-day stay in Dolwyddelan.
Dolwyddelan is a perfect base for visiting Snowdonia and it was our second holiday in this gorgeous village. Also perfect for hiking and climbing with good easy walks from Dolwyddelan as well as the more challenging walk up Moel Siabod. We spent an amazing week in the cottage, would love to return!

It was overall a beautiful cottage & location, except using google maps doesn’t make you journey to location easy, it took us to a different place & got stuck up the hill, when tried to ring the owner no reply what so ever!! Then eventually getting pointed to our right direction, then I couldn’t find the code for keys easy so once again I rang the owner & maintenance & no answer! So the whole week we could of been stranded outside, owner wouldn’t of even bothered trying to get in contact to help!! & the emergency numbers is no use having them !!
