Rustic
Property was very close to Delores with a remote wilderness feel. Saw lots of deer and horses. Only about 20 min. to Mesa Verde National Park. The only drawback was the sulfur smell from the hot water. We had a great stay.

Awesome
Great place to stay! Nice, clean cabin nestled in the trees. Easy access to town/stores, easy check in and checkout via online. Most everything provided, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, trash bags, towels, kitchen accessories, bring your own hygiene items, only one small hotel size shampoo and conditioner and there was a container on the wall for bath soap but nothing in it. Most everyone brings their own anyway. There was a s’mores kit supplied for us to make at the outside fire pit which was a lot of fun even the hangers to roast marshmallows. Just a great place to stay! Highly recommended!

White Christmas
Absolutely beautiful. We drove 8 hours from South West Arizona where we don't get snow at all. Every year we try and find a place to have a white Christmas and this year not only did my family get a white Christmas but also had their own space to relax. My son and his family drove in from Colorado Springs and said it felt like home. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Everything was perfect.

Mountain Ranch Getaway
The property was nice and clean and roomy. The area was beautiful and very quiet. It was a very peaceful destination that we really needed being sort of spent from a lot of long work hours. really nice place to unwind and relax. It was actually a fishing trip for us to McPhee Reservoir. My only small disappointment was the location mapping on the listing that showed it closer to town and the river. We kind of looked forward to the quick walking distance to restaurants and fishing on the river. Instead, it was a drive to stuff which made it hard for our wives to go shopping without a vehicle. But, this was not a deal breaker at all. It ended up being a huge blessing with the quiet and solitude. We are very glad to have stayed here and would highly recommend it to anyone as a great stay for a quiet getaway. It was lovely. and we thank the owners for sharing their lovely place with us.

The property was just as advertised. No issues whatsoever. However, I would recommend a propane grill to cook on. Charcoal takes too long to prepare. And some dish sponges with a course side would be helpful for washing pots/pans.

Our stay
The house had a weird smell to the water like rotten eggs that didn’t go away in all the sinks and bathrooms. That was a bummer. Not sure why that was. It was clean-ish there were cobwebs and spiders in every room and some dust on the counters and dishes but those washed up easy enough. We had trouble figure it out the dishwasher till the last day, so we hand washed all the dishes. The fire pit was amazing and the deck was amazing. The smaller bedroom bottom bed the planks of wood were cut short so you had to be very careful where you sat on it or you would fall through. The aesthetic was so adorable, just like a large cabin! Perfect for our family get together. We cleaned it very very well before we left including getting rid of the cob webs, stripping the beds and mopping the floor to leave it in better condition than we found it before we left and didn’t get our security deposit. This was a bit frustrating since we left it better than we found it and we didn’t get any correspondence as to why we didn’t get it back. A beautiful location, the peace and quit was very relaxing. It was close enough to town that we could get a few groceries when we needed them since we traveled from Wisconsin to stay there. Overall would stay again if we had gotten our security deposit back.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience you may have had. I was unaware of the issues that you incurred. Dust and cob webs are hard to avoid in such a close proximity to the forest and being located on a dirt road.

Great Family Getaway
We had 10 people, 8 adults a teanager and a one year old, and every one of us loved staying here. There was plenty of space, places to sleep and eat. It was in an extremely beautiful and peaceful area.

Relaxation, comfort and location
House was roomy and clean. Furniture was comfy and lots of seating for a large group. Location was excellent. Less than 5 minutes from center of Town of Dolores. We visited Telluride, and 3 National Parks,. Canyonlands, Arches and Mesa Verde. All easy to get to. Communication with Michael and Brandee was excellent. We would definitely book this place again.

Relaxing Family Getaway
What a great location and perfect retreat for family. The furniture is extremely sturdy which made for a comfy stay for everyone. Linens were also abundant and comfy. The owner was great to work with. The outdoors were also relaxing and nearby many attractions. Would recommend to anyone!

Super Comfty
This place was wonderful. So cozy and great for bbq’s and s’mores or just a nice fire out in the open. The house was super clean overall and you are provided with pans and silverware but you do have to bring your own food to cook. Super comfortable place to stay at and a nice view of nature outside. You are apart from the city and have plenty of space between you and the neighbors so you have plenty of privacy!! Loved it here and def recommend. Also overall look and decoor of the house is aesthetically pleasing.

Fun Family Trip
The cabin was as expected, based on the listing info & reviews. The private location in the woods, next to the Boggy Draw trail system was great. My family (wife, 2 young boys, 2 small dogs) enjoyed hiking & Mtn biking on the trails, hanging out on the covered deck & having s’mores around the propane fire pit each night. The bunk beds were great for our boys, and we had a wonderful time in the nearby area & also exploring trails/scenery up by Lizard Head wilderness area & Telluride. Host was very fast w/ replies to questions & gave us wonderful overall service. We hope to return!

Cleaning Needs Attention
We appreciated the open floor plan, adequate bedding, and setup of the trailer. Everyone loves the comfortable couch in the great room Leaving a s'mores kit was a nice touch, but we very disappointed in the cleanliness of the property. There were mouse droppings in the countertop when we arrived and we saw a mouse scuttle underneath the couch the first night, so we tried to lock up our food in the cooler. The master tub was covered in dirt and some dead bugs when we arrived. I spent a good while cleaning it to bathe our kids. (The property manager said window was left open for ventilation with the swamp cooler and lots of dirt blew in.) The last night we were there, the dishwasher flooded and I saw the mouse once again. We didn't feel comfortable letting the baby crawl around on the floors in this condition. The property manager offered a free one-night stay if we were to come back, but we're from our of state and would not choose to repeat the experience. I counter-offered by saying we would appreciate a refund of one-night's payment but there was no response to that request.

Riverfest
Came in with Deltaphonic who headlined the Dolores Riverfest. Great location. Plenty of space. Well equipped home. Good separation and great outdoor space. Nice little town with great pizza/beer/Mexican food and a gourmet grocery store to boot.

Great location for Dolores, Cortez and Mesa Verde
Beautiful setting. We stayed for three nights. The directions to the property were easy to follow and access was simple. Plenty of room. It did seem like the place could have used a touch up cleaning before we got there (a lot of dust etc.).

Fantastic property!
We had a great time at the cabin! It was warm and cozy as soon as we arrived and perfectly clean. The owners even came to remove the snow after it snowed overnight. Very great spot to stay and we really enjoyed our time here!

Thanksgiving Success
We loved being able to host Thanksgiving at this VRBO for family coming from out of state. The access to all the nearby bike trails was amazing! The house was in decent condition…definitely nothing fancy and some minor issues to deal with (doors that didn’t close well/latch, lights with no batteries), but overall we were very pleased with the experience.

Great family spot
Our family of twelve had a great stay! So close to Boggy Draw trails. House has fantastic views that feel so private. Grands had a blast riding their little bikes and since house is at end of road it felt safe for them.

Beautiful and affordable! Wonderful hosts!
When you first enter the cabin you will find its very private and hidden from the view, so you can immediately feel comfortable. You are surrounded by the most serene views nature has to offer. The cabin interior is extremely clean, and the hosts have obviously taken a great deal of care to ensure a top notch experience. The showers in the cabin are wonderful, the bedrooms are also extremely nice to sleep in. The cooling system is absolutely incredible, making it extremely comfortable during the hot summer months. The porch also has plenty of space and chairs, I would say we spent the bulk of our time enjoying it. Overall, the stay was incredible and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoys vacations in cabins!

Birthday get away
I rented this property for my husband's birthday. It was a very beautiful, peaceful place. It was butted up against the woods so you can ride atv's ride horses or even just take a hike. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable weekend. I will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location
This place was nice. The location was beautiful. They redid the house nicely. My only complaint was NO INTERNET! None. We could even watch a movie after our long days out. We had been traveling for a month and this was our last location. We really just wanted to relax and have kids play on their iPads. But there was no internet. My dad could t even watch a movie. Even to make phone calls we had to walk 10 feet from the house.

Thank you very much for the review. I'm sorry that you had an issue with the internet. I had no idea that there was a problem and would have been more than happy to help you access the internet. I assumed since I received a message from you during your stay at the cabin through VRBO that everything was working well(as the internet is how you messaged me). All the instructions on the internet are located in the binder on the dining room table. I did however contact the internet company to come up and make sure that we have adequate internet service and they assured me that we do.

Awesome stay!
We stayed here for a family birthday getaway. It was a cute place, with all the things you could need to enjoy it. The owners left a small supply of snacks, beverage, and smores making stuff as a welcome gift. It was a nice addition to an already awesome place. The location could not be better. We rode our bikes from the gate in the yard to some of the best bike trails anywhere. At night, we had campfires in the gas firepit. Most of the time we were at the cabin, we sat out on the covered porch, which was a great hang out spot, with plenty of seating and a couple of tables. The owners were great, available when we needed them, but not in our space when we didn't. They always replied promptly to any and all questions we had, and were very nice. We will recommend this place to all our friends and will definitely stay here again. I cannot say enough good things about the place and the people.
