Great House

We had a lovely time at Heather's house! We were a group of three families, the place caters especially well for extended families. All went really well, Heather was a very lovely and caring host. Thanks for having us!

Family Celebration

3 generation of our familly got together. 11 people aged 70 to 5. This villa was excellent. The children loved the pool and garden. The adults enjoyed the spacious rooms and plentiful bathrooms.

I have been lucky enough to stay at this property twice now and, restrictions permitting, will be returning in March with a large group of friends. The first time, I booked my friends Hen Doo here and we all had a ball. Second time, I just went with my husband and children - it was bliss. Space for everyone but great social areas for playing games too. All the facilities you would need plus the use of your own pool when lockdown has closed or restricted most public facilities is a benefit that you cannot put a price on. Heather, the owner, cannot do enough for you if you stay here and is on the end of the phone if there is anything that you might need. The view is spectacular from the living room window, a real Scottish view if you are not from the area and although we have never used the local amenities, there are plenty places to visit within a short driving distance including Edinburgh, Perth or Dundee. I can't wait to go back and have everything crossed that restrictions will be eased by March! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a lovely time at Tigh Na Beannaich.

We had a lovely time at Tigh Na Beannaich. The house was very spacious and most importantly very clean. The swimming pool was an amazing luxury which meant that we didn't have to leave the house for entertainment if we didn't want to. There were two tvs, dvds, a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden to sit in. Lovely scenery too with lots to do. Very family friendly and would definitely recommend. Although it is located in a cluster of other houses, it was still very private and quiet. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had an amazing time at the cottage (mansion). We chose it because we wanted a rural location but not too rural. Shop and cafe close enough to walk to. Playground nearby for little ones. Supermarkets within easy driving distance and easy to set up delivery to the house. Plenty of activities nearby - we loved Blair Drummond. The swimming pool was a dream - we were in it every day with the children. Heather was so attentive to ensuring we had everything we needed during the week. We had bad weather but who would notice when you’re warm and cosy inside with your own pool? My grandchildren loved it - I can’t count the number of FaceTime tours they gave other family members during the week (inside and out). If you’re considering going here - consider no more. Book! A really relaxing and enjoyable stay.

A really relaxing and enjoyable stay. It was a great place for all of us to enjoy time together and plenty of space for when we may have wanted to quietly admire the sun go down over the hills with a glass of something while the younger members of the family enjoyed the pool and the array of board games at hand. We made it to the Powmill Milk Bar on our last day and wished we had gone earlier. Heather was there to meet us and show us where everything when we arrived - very welcoming. I would highly recommend a visit.

We absolutely loved our stay at Tigh Na Beannaich this May. It was an absolute pleasure to experience this house and be in such close proximity to Perth & the coast of Fife. The pool has got to be the feature of the house and it was very well utilised! It was amazing to have that available right at the centre of the house. The hosts were fantastic and came to help us out whenever we needed anything or if there were any small problems - they were incredibly hospitable. More so than any other house that I have booked before! :) Thank you again Heather & Colin - we'll be back!

The host Heather was lovely, she couldn’t have done any more for us. We booked the house for my partners 30th birthday and a great time was had by all. Comfortable beds and everything we needed within the house with the bonus of having our own private pool! Beautiful surroundings!

We used the cottage for a celebratory Hen weekend for our youngest sister.

We used the cottage for a celebratory Hen weekend for our youngest sister. The house is absolutely beautiful and the pool had the wow faxtor we were looking for. I gave local amenities 10 because we were aware the house was in a remote area so we made sure we had all we needed food and drink wise for our 3 night stay. We actually did a Tesco shop and had it delivered to the property. Decor wise, a little dated, but didn't detract from the property and the time we had. The homeowner was extremely friendly and gave us a great A-Z of the house and area. Local taxi number, which we booked to take 15 of us the Stirling for the night. Would truly recommend this property and would definitely consider again.

We had a great three generational family weekend with an age range from age 4 to 70.

We had a great three generational family weekend with an age range from age 4 to 70. The pool is a brilliant attraction with all ages enjoying playing around in the water. Everyone helps with food prep and cooking and there's plenty of space for helpers. The accommodation suits our requirements and is fairly flexible. This may have been our fifth visit to this property which rather says it all.

Heather is a wonderful hostess.

Heather is a wonderful hostess. Communication prior to arrival was excellent and accurate. Heather welcomed us at the property and showed us around which was a great help. We settled immediately and were in the swimming pool within an hour of arrival. It’s the highlight of the property - big enough and deep enough to swim a few strokes and the water temperature was great. The house sleeps 13 in beds with a pull out sofa bed in the master offering 2 further sleeps. Two direct en-suites and a hall en-suite right next to two of the bedrooms. Rooms and bathroom/shower rooms were spotless and there are more than enough towels but you might want to bring your own larger pool towels as well. The kitchen is very well equipped - USA fridge freezer, dishwasher (starter tab pack included), microwave and washing machine all there and all the cookware, crockery and glasses you will ever need. The TV room has the large flat screen TV (with Sky) and plenty of seating (we spent the week in here!) and the separate lounge is huge with great views. This is right next to the 8 seater dining table, hall and front door with a toilet just inside the front door. Don’t be daunted by the steps at the front door - the back door has a one car drive and just a couple of steps for the less mobile visitor. The house is on a small private estate just on the outskirts of the small village of Powmill. The village was a small shop and Powmill Milk Bar - great for a lunch and a must visit. Dollar is a 5-10 minute drive with a Co-op store, Chinese, Indian and chippy as well as its own deli and a few nice shops. You’re 20-25 minutes from Stirling and Kinross and just over an hour from The Trossachs and St Andrews on different compass points. It’s a delightful house with a pool in a quiet location - if you want somewhere near pubs/clubs and nightlife this is not the area to be looking in - that’s why we stayed. If I could give Heather 11/10 for hospitality I would in a minute. This is a delightful house in a quiet location - it’s not cheap but it’s worth what you pay.

Family of 9 of us of varying ages celebrating grandad's birthday - youngest was 9 months, eldest 60! All had a ball. Lovely house which was large enough for us all with room to spare. Fab swimming pool and great location. Heather is great host - brownies were demolished in record time and welcome pack was very welcome! We left something behind accidentally and Heather was very helpful in returning left items. Can't wait to come back, all family have been raving about their time away and passing house details on to all who will listen! Give it a go, you won't regret it!
