"Fabulous place in a great location, very quiet and safe area and plenty of car parking available overnight with restricted parking during the day. Accommodation was excellent and I will definitely use it again, kitchen was well stocked and the bed very comfy and overall the place was very well done out and clean. "This was our favorite accommodation during a 10-day trip to Scotland. The space is in an old church and is beautifully and creatively renovated and comfortable to boot. There's parking right outside the door. And when you step onto the street, you're right in the middle of an incredible historic area that even served as the set for filming some episodes of Outlander. "Our first trip to Scotland and it couldn’t have been better. We stayed 2 full weeks at Simon’s charming apartment. The apartment had everything we needed and we enjoyed the terrace. Stockbridge is the local village with a fish & meat shop as well as two grocers and lots of restaurants and shops including several bookstores. "The flat is ok-ish, clean enough I would say but definitely not a luxury apartment. It has a couple of cool things like the bathroom mirror, a couple of lights and some black furniture but that's about all the luxuries. How luxurious is it when you have to hand wash the dishes and why would you host up to 8 guests but only provide towels for a max of 4!?!
