I wanted to feel like I was completely off the grid and this cabin more than delivered. The property is absolutely stunning. We were in town for the Maple Festival but I could’ve spent all day hiking the property. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Steve is very responsive and thoughtful; he had a fire waiting for us to light when we arrived. Excellent communication. I’ve read through some of the reviews and understand that yes, this place is remote. Yes, you might get muddy. Yes, there are cows - which sadly weren’t grazing near the cabin at during our stay! If you’re looking for quiet, calm, wildlife and the opportunity to step back time, this is the place. Cannot wait to return. Thank you Steve!

Great location for a quiet family vacation - quiet and secluded but opportunities for walks and to visit the nearby McDowell battlefield. Host was very welcoming and helpful and the house had everything we needed. Will definitely come back!

Wow! This is the place to be when you want to get away. The host Steve was fantastic! Very responsive and answered any questions we had. All the comforts of home made our family vacation even more enjoyable. We we definitely be back!

Great communication from host. The property makes you feel your 1000 miles from civilization, but the cabin has all the creature comforts one would want. It's rustic, and very comfortable. Would 100% recommend you book this place, and I hope to be back soon!!!

Went up with my son and the scenery was beautiful on property. It was away from everything which is exactly what i wanted. Everything was there at the property that i would need. My son enjoyed playing outside and walking the woods.

Awesome well equipped property and the host was very responsive. This is the perfect getaway to enjoy the peacefulness of rural America but with the amenities of modern life. We enjoyed hiking on the property and relaxing in the quiet evenings. I have already made plans to return!

This place exceeded our expectations. I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect place, which for us, is seclusion, and it more than delivered. Not another soul in sight the entire time. Just lots of cows that were quite enjoyable. Our 20 pound dog chased a few down the hill one day. We didn’t enjoy the fire pit like we would have liked due to on and off rain and thunderstorms, but we were treated to a rainbow every evening of our stay. And you can’t beat some great storms while staying in a cabin. The best part of the stay was just hanging on the front porch all day enjoying our surroundings. It was one of the best cabins we have stayed in and my only complaint is that we had to leave. Steve was a great host and we appreciate him opening up this treasure for others to enjoy.

Lovely Getaway

We wanted scenic views, clean air, and a bit of isolation. Seldom Seen definitely delivered. We truly enjoyed every moment while at this lovely location. Definitely plan to return and highly recommend to those who need some serenity. It was perfect for us as a couples getaway, but has plenty of space for larger groups.
