"Loved, loved, loved this hotel. It was a 4 minute walk to Hamamatsucho station which is on the Yamanote line and away from the hustle and bustle. Although there is a train line next to the hotel you don't hear them after certain time. The staff were absolutely amazing! We first went to the wrong hotel and one of the staff members gave us directions to the right hotel but then got on his bicycle and followed us to ensure we were going to the right hotel. The staff were so kind, super helpful...

"Very convenient location for Tsukiji market shopping and dining. Room was small, but efficiently arranged. Great to have laundry in room. Check in was very quick but pre check in process was very time consuming because of the ridiculous way of entering dates using calendars rather than entertaining year, month, and day separately. Staff was fantastic, holding our bags after early arrival and placing bags in room after check in time. Highly recommend this property."

"Room was fine. We had difficulty filling in the online checkin at reception on our cellphones and the staff kept persisting that we had to complete it rather than just checking us in which would have been much quicker. Seems ridiculous that you need to fill in all the same details that are completed when you book the room on expedia. We stayed in numerous hotels during our trip to Japan and we found the cell phone check in ridiculous and so time consuming considering."

Washing machine in the room is so convenient, and the bedding and bed is really comfortable. Great size for Tokyo, super clean, and easy because it’s a small property. Lovely staff, great location way to get to Tokyo station, ginza or Disney, or team lab!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at GRAND MONday Ueno Okachimachi. The best part was definitely the 2nd floor because it had the gym, sauna, vending machine and public bath all right there together. It was so convenient to finish a workout and go straight into the spa to relax. The front desk is staffed and they are super helpful. Having a washer/dryer and a full fridge made everything so much easier. It’s also in a great spot—super close to the station and within walking distance to the markets and...
