"It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. "This was the second time that we have stayed in this lovely old pub and our experience was just as good as on our first visit. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent and the service from Matt and his team is as good as you’ll find any pub in the UK. The village of Plush is charming but very small and rather remote so don’t any night life!"

"If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it."
