Cozy and clean
We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a beautiful property. Very well maintained. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. The cottage is just as nice as in the pictures.

6 Star Gem on the Vancouver Coast
If we could give this property 6 stars instead of 5 we would. Jodi & Ken are absolutely wonderful hosts, the 'cottage' is amazing. Love the view and the feel of the place. The Kitchen is fully stocked with tools/utensils you'll need. The linens/towels are wonderful fabric and we LOVED the soap... (need to find out where to get it for our home). The Attic bedroom is quaint/comfortable and was romantic for celebrating our 20th anniversary. We'll definitely be back and will check out their other Granite Falls Getaway locations.

Indian Arm North Shore Cottage
This is a great property for our first visit to Vancouver. It was very remote yet close to downtown and all attractions. Great view of the water from the bedroom window and lower deck that hosts allowed us to use. The peace and quiet was very relaxing. Excellent recent renovation and everything needed was in the cottage. One minor issue was that clothes washer was not operational but it was not a major issue since the hosts allowed us to use their laundry equipment in the next door main house. It was a perfect choice for our stay and just the right size for two people. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this unique property.

Wonderful Stay
Wonderful garden, cottage, deck, good maintained, lovely decorated. Very comfy, everything is there you could possibly need. Good recommendations for things to do, where to eat etc. Precise directions. Narrow road but so beautiful! We loved being out of the city in such a lovely location. The view, the fresh air, everything is so relaxing. We liked Deep Cove and the whole area. Exceptionally hospitable hosts - hope to see them again. Would love to come back.

Woodlands Gem
Was looking for something more relaxing than a hotel and this definitely hit the spot. This forest get away is both beautiful and peaceful. The property and hosts are excellent making our stay very enjoyable.

A Slice of the Good Life
This property sits high above the Indian Arm, with the cottage tucked up behind the residence, surrounded by lush gardens. Jodi and Ken are so welcoming and hospitable with their stunning residence. What a treat to experience living the good life, if only for a week! We took every advantage of the many walking & hiking trails both in and around Vancouver and on up to Squamish. It was so nice to come back to such a clean, well-appointed, charming cottage - to the wonderful shower, beautiful kitchen, air conditioning - cook dinner and relax while watching the far side of the fjord glow as the sun sets behind us. However, believe Jodi and Ken when they say their cottage is not suitable for those with mobility challenges. Nor if you're uncomfortable navigating the steep and narrow final stretch of the drive. But, it is SO worth it!

Little slice of paradise
Jodi, Ken and the dogs were so welcoming! The air conditioning is an absolute gift and the place was WELL stocked. Comfy linens, comfy couch, overall a comfy stay! Would recommend!

Beautiful cottage with kind hosts
This was my second year staying and won’t be my last! If you like sitting on the dock with beautiful views, watching the kayakers go by (or joining them yourself) this is the spot for you :)

We didn't want to leave.
This is a delightful cottage in a gorgeous setting. The owners have created a cozy retreat and will make you feel at home in every way. As it says in the description, there ARE stairs. We just figured it added to the adventure and the landings that overlook the water are worth every step. We look forward to staying at some of their other properties as well. This is a find.

Perfect
We loved this little cottage - it is perfect in every way. It is cozy and clean with a well stocked kitchen. The property is beautiful, and we enjoyed having access to the outdoor sitting areas. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we find ourselves returning to the Vancouver area.

Paradise found
The cottage and the hosts were amazing;). We spent our days lying on the dock, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. The evenings looking over the ocean. Jodi and Ken were so kind to let us use the kayaks and paddleboard. The feeling of serenity that we had during our stay is still with us. What a magical place:). We just did a staycation and are from Vancouver but it is a whole other world of forest and ocean over there. Thanks Jodi and Ken for making our vacation something very special!!

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, exceptional ocean views

BEAUTIFUL AND WELCOMING
Agree with the other reviewers- this place is beautiful and Jodi and Ken are so gracious and welcoming. Stayed for a week and it was a real treat! Went kayaking, swimming, and relaxed in a garden or on a dock without ever leaving the property.

Such a lovely and quaint guest cottage and stellar place to get away for peace, quiet and restoration. The hosts are lovely and kind. They are gracious and helpful. Ocean at your feet!!
A wonderful cabin experience with ocean view at your door. Dock and paddleboard were so fun. Jodi and Ken treated us like gold. Highly recommend this cottage .

A Perfect Relaxing Getaway
Ken & Jodi were the best hosts and the property was beyond our expectations! We had such a nice and relaxing time at the cottage. We really enjoyed kayaking in the mornings and hanging out by the nice patio area around the fire pit. Definitely will be back again :)

Is this heaven?
My husband and I quarantined here at the end of the pandemic, and I swear it was the reward for the last 14 months of lockdown. The cottage is adorable, even luxurious. The views are some of the prettiest we've seen anywhere in t. The sea the world.. The sea air, the cedars, the beautiful garden--it was like being transported to a spa. I even did yoga outside on the deck one morning. We would love to come back. Jodi and Ken were great hosts and helpful in every way. We'd love to come back next summer.. Right now, we're downtown Vancouver seeing our one-year-old granddaughter we've only known on Zoom!

This cottage/guest-house was clean, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. The views are absolutely gorgeous from inside and outside at this property. The owners are on-site and supplied friendly and prompt responses to all questions and issues.

The Most Tranquil Place to Relax, Feel Alive and Enjoy Inside & Out
Jodi and Ken have created an absolute oasis that will take your trip/vacation or stay to the next level. Their passion for the property and the level of effort and detail they go to for their guests are unparalleled compared to my other VRBO stays. Will be returning at some point. Amazing - we will visit again as well as other properties
The Whitesides were the most welcoming and flawless hosts. Every detail was thought of and the personal experience of them anticipating our every need made it an unforgettable weekend. We are locals looking to staycation and Jodi and Ken made it feel like a trip away from home. They made us feel like long lost family and ensured we enjoyed the beautiful property to the greatest extent. Any property of Jodi and Kens will be a place I will purposefully look to book in the future. You are missing out if you don't book the Cottage!

Leah and Todd were a delight to have a guests it is always enjoyable to get a chance to sit have a glass of wine and get to know people. I hope we get to host the two of you again as guests

Nice place to quarantine
Spent 2 weeks here in quarantine as required right now for Americans, so we could visit later with son and family (especially 2 year old granddaughter). Jodi and Ken were gracious hosts, and we became friends, at a distance of course. Cottage was well equipped. We had nice weather so spent considerable time outside on their various deck levels enjoying their views of Indian Arm inlet. Our hosts even assisted us picking up our grocery orders. Hope to visit again sometime.

Beautiful Place!
My wife and have had this little gem saved as a favourite on VRBO for the past couple years and finally had the chance to go. Definitely well worth the wait. The drive down to the cottage is fun! Just make sure you follow Jodi's OCD directions and you will be good. The property is well manicured and lush. Coffee on the dock in the morning sun, with the views of Indian Arm can't be beat. Jodi and Ken are awesome hosts. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer! Thanks guys! We hope to get back again soon!

Jodi & Ken's property is amazing! So beautiful and in a great location. Jodi & Ken are personable, welcoming, friendly, helpful - we got along really well. We appreciate their attention to detail and how clean & organized the unit was. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Jodi & Ken recommended some great local things to eat and do in Deep Cove - we loved our trip and highly recommend it!

I have been into so many places in my life, but this was by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to. The view is absolutely stunning, the property is super clean and the hosts become your friends minutes after you meet them. I kept extending my booking and I know for sure I will be back again.

Wonderful Escape
This property was perfect for what I needed - a lakeside cottage away from everything so I can relax and think. Jodi was great with communications and the dogs were great welcoming me. The cottage has everything you could ever need. And lots of places for hiking and exploring the outdoors. Stores only 10 minute drive away. Love this place!

Wonderful location for visiting the sites of Vancouver
Wonderful location for visiting the sites of Vancouver! We really enjoyed being able to come back and relax in a very peaceful and beautiful setting our hosts were great . I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone visiting the Vancouver area that likes to wind down at the end of the day.

The perfect getaway cottage in North Vancouver
Beautiful cottage, stunning water views, comfortable spaces to relax with a glass of wine, nearby hiking trails and natural beauty everywhere! This was a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. Peaceful and relaxing
Jodi's property is as beautiful as it gets! We were mesmerized by the vista and the tranquility of the property / neighborhood. Communications with Jodi was smooth and timely. The cottage is beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a short visit. We made dinner on the grill almost every night. Jodi and Kent were lovely hosts. Super Property & Super Hosts
Had an absolutely wonderful time at the property for the four nights we stayed. The blue water views of the fjord, the enchanting garden on the property, the warmth, responsiveness, and helpfulness of the hosts Jodie & Ken - were all fantastic! Would happily return if another opportunity arose.

An amazing stay - great views, excellent host, cozy digs.
We had a wonderful romantic weekend here! The views don’t disappoint and Jodi prepared us well for our stay. From helpful directions to a very warm welcome, she was a terrific host. We were so comfortable and happy, my boyfriend decided to propose on one of the decks overlooking the water! Unforgettable in many ways :) we would highly recommend staying here.

Awesome vacation in Deep Cove
Jodi and Ken were so amazing and friendly. They made us feel like we had been friends for awhile. Their cottage is very clean and comfortable. Great comfy bed and a wonderful shower!! The location could not get any better, especially when they showed us a short cut to Quarry Rock. Thanks Ken and Jodi. We would definitely return to Deep Cove and stay at their very lovely cottage.

Beautiful Cottage
Jodi was a great host. Right after booking, she was in contact with everything that we needed to know. Jodi and her husband, Ken, offered us great recommendations for local food and things to see and do. The property was beautiful and the cottage was clean and had everything that you might need. We would love to stay here again for a longer trip to take advantage of all that Jodi and Ken have to offer at their home and also Vancouver overall. One of a Kind
This place was absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway! The location was amazing and the views of Indian Arm left us speechless and in awe. Jodi and Ken were so welcoming and attentive. They made us feel right at home. You can't go wrong with renting this place! Kayak in the morning, hike in the afternoon, night cap on the dock in the evening with the occasional Seal as company.... what more could you ask for? Jodi & Ken, thanks so much for a wonderful stay. 10 Star Review - Cause 5 Stars aren’t enough
What a wonderful get away to start our vacation! We had a wonderful time and the hosts are strangers only for a few minutes - then friends forever! We spent time just enjoying getting to know Jodi & Ken and they made us feel right at home. The cabin is the best, decorated and well equipped - including various spices, teas & coffee. The bed was super comfy and the linens were top quality - it is obvious that Jodi has an eye for details and made our stay first class. The boat dock you see in the pictures is a great place to have an evening drink and watch the kayakers and boats go by - we enjoyed the view multiple times. We were able to explore Whistler, Vancouver and various other attractions - but always looked forward to returning to our temporary retreat. It’s literally off the main road through the forest until you arrive at the cabin over looking the bay. Please book this place you won’t be disappointed! We enjoyed 6 nights and should have stayed longer - just because it’s so beautiful. Jodi & Ken - thanks for great memories!

Tim and Liz were such lovely people we get to meet so many great couples and they were the like old friends right from our first meeting . You will never go wrong renting to them we hope they are back for their next anniversary
