The house was clean, as described, and is in a very convenient location. Our frustration relates to the unavailability of represented amenities, specifically the hot tub. We ski hard, and a hot tub is an essential. After our first day, we went to the clubhouse only to find the hot tub was "not operating." We now see in the reviews that this was not the first time. We immediately notified the manager, who said they were "unaware" of the problem and would have to reach out to the association. The hot tub was never usable during our stay, and we received no explanation as to why not. When we inquired at the end of our stay as to whether any financial accommodation would be offered for the lack of this important amenity, we quickly advised NO because (1) they have NO CONTROL over this hot tub and its operation (if not that should be disclosed) and (2) the rental agreement that says no amenities are guaranteed. SO BEWARE, if any of the amenities listed as provided are important to you but are not provided, do not expect any meaningful cooperation from this manager. Instead, expect to be referred to the rental agreement, which states that promised amenities are not guaranteed. That may be their legal right, but it reveals a very disappointing lack of customer service or concern when things go wrong. We feel future renters should know what we experienced and what they can reasonably expect.
